Did you know that your brain connects to other people's brains? Check this out. Ever notice how hard it is not to cry when you see someone else that's crying? The reason why is because there's neurons inside of your brain that are called mirror neurons. Your brain will mirror somebody else's neurons, mimic them, and then you will feel what that person is feeling. This is why you have to be very diligent about surrounding yourself with the right people. In psychology, this is called emotional contagion. If you surround yourself with negative people who are lazy, who complain all day, then taking action is going to be really, really hard for you. Negativity can be contagious, stress can be contagious, and sadness can be contagious. But also good emotions are contagious as well. If you surround yourself with people who are driven, people who look at the bright side of things, people who take action, then it will be easier to be motivated and to take action towards the life that you want. So be careful who you surround yourself with, because you will start to become just like them.
