Check this out. Did you know that your brain connects to other people's brains? Ever notice how hard it is to not yawn when you see someone else yawning? Or how hard it is to not cry when you see someone else crying? The reason why is because there's neurons in your brain called mirror neurons. Your brain will mirror someone else's neurons, mimic them, and then you will feel what they are feeling. This is why you have to be very diligent about who you surround yourself with in being around the right people. In psychology, this is called emotional contagion. If you surround yourself with negative people who are lazy and complain all day and they're not taking action, it's going to be really hard for you to take action. Negativity can be contagious and stress can be contagious. Sadness can be contagious. But also good emotions can be contagious as well too. If you surround yourself with people who are driven, who look at the bright side of things, who take action, it will be easier for you to be motivated and take action towards the life that you want. So be careful who you surround yourself with, because you're going to start to become exactly like them.
