Rob Greenlee argues AI should handle podcast editing and show notes so creators focus on what machines can't: creativity, authenticity, and emotion. As AI-generated content floods the market, human-made work will become premium, labeled and valued for its human touch.

leverage AI to handle repetitive tasks, podcast editing, show notes, so you can focus on the creative and human aspects and relationship building that only you as a human can do. So, and the next advantage that humans have over AI, AI to augment your skills, not replace them. So as we move from using it as a tool, it's an augmentation of your skills, not a replacement. Future media creation and podcasting will involve more AI. There's no question. But the human element will always be irreplaceable. And I think we've covered that pretty well here. As AI generates more content, and it will. And the unique value of human-led media will increase. Now, my co-host Todd Cochran says this on the podcast too. He thinks that AI will eventually be labeled, and so you'll see content that pops up and says this is AI-generated, and then there's going to be other content that pops up like this show that's human-generated, and it's likely going to be identified. And as AI generates more content, and it will, the unique value of human-led media will increase. The creativity, authenticity, emotions, and ethical leadership are areas where AI just can't compete. Not yet anyway. And by doubling down on these strengths, humans can beat AI and lead in a rich future, and especially around media creation.
