Hi, this is Rob Greenlee again from another episode of Behind the Wheel, and I, I certainly appreciate you being here. I'm currently sitting in my 2022 Tesla Model 3 Long Range, and like I said, I appreciate you being here. I'm starting, or restarting might be a better way of saying it, this channel that I had started 16 years ago called Behind the Wheel. And it's actually literally me doing this series mostly from actually being behind the wheel of this car and, and being able to bring you that experience of driving an EV to you in this channel. And I had an early Toyota Camry Hybrid that was kind of at the cutting edge back in 2007, and that was, that was actually a kind of like a glimpse of what the future of electric vehicles was. And, and I, I documented as best I could from behind the wheel, and people seem to like it. A couple of those episodes achieved a lot of views as people were trying to learn about the kind of hybrid technology and also EV technology. So I've owned this Tesla for about 3 years, or 1 year now actually, and it's, it's been a terrific car for me. I've really enjoyed driving it, and it's, it's got a lot of power. It's just a joy to drive. And I also wanted to share too that I'm doing this series with a new type of video camera. It's actually called an Insta360 X3. It's actually a 360-degree view camera. It's got actually two lenses on it, and, and it's capable of capturing a 360-degree view of me and the car. So what I'm going to do is, you can see right in front of you I have a mount that's mounted to my windshield, and that will be a mount that I use to actually record some driving demos of this car that I can actually show you some things with the car that probably is from a unique perspective, and I can actually take different views of what it's like actually straight ahead, behind, from the side. I can point at the monitor on the center of the vehicle here that is kind of like the focal point of the vehicle itself. So I'm going to come back with more episodes of this. I'm still playing around with the camera and the technology and being able to adequately film this and get good audio quality. Also, I have a, what's called a DJI wireless microphone setup here that is, has a strong reputation for bringing really good audio quality. So thank you so much. Look for coming episodes of this series, and I will bring you greater details into understanding, especially if you're thinking about buying a Tesla vehicle, kind of how behind the wheel it is to actually drive one of these vehicles and the things that you need to know about and the things that you need to understand about the car so you can have a better experience and be safer in it as well. So thank you so much. Please subscribe to my channel, uh, Rob Greenlee, and like and and so I can keep doing this and bringing you just these very raw videos with a completely different type of visual experience. So thank you so much, and hope to have you check out this channel for my next episode. So thank you so much for, for watching. I appreciate it.
Yes, I'm in my Model 3, uh, my Tesla Model 3 2022 Long Range version, and I just wanted to show you my camera mount for my Insta360 X3, uh, 360-degree video camera that I have attached to the ceiling of my, of my car, just so you can see. And I'm going to be creating, new videos called Behind the Wheel or Behind the EV Wheel with Rob Greenlee, and I'm going to be talking about different characteristics and features of the Tesla and share with you some of the insights that I've gotten from driving this vehicle for about 10,000 miles in a little over a year. So anyway, I just wanted to show you how I had this mounted in the Model 3 and how I'm doing the recording. I also have like a little clip-on microphone that I have that's transmitting to this little base unit right here that actually takes a little bit better audio quality. So that was the idea behind it anyway. So anyway, just wanted to share that.
