Rob Greenlee argues Tesla's Full Self-Driving is already an AI agent that acts on your commands, driving on your behalf. He imagines applying the same agent approach to email, scheduling, and project work to boost efficiency and quality.

I'm trying to think about it in a little bit more of a positive light. And this car, this Model 3 with Full Self-Driving and autonomy, is a reflection, I think, to some degree of how technology could, can be used in a positive way. There's nothing about this car that I think is really oppressive or harmful. I think it just makes a lot of sense in what it does and how it thinks and how it wants to replicate what humans do. And I think that's maybe a good thing because it's going to put us in a better situation to have more alignment with technology and how technology can help us. I mean, also increasingly thinking about AI agents and how those are going to blend in with the autonomous robots and vehicles and other things that are going to be potentially connected to my AI agent. Now, in a lot of ways, this car is a representation of an agent. And it really feels that way. It actually drives for me on behalf of what I tell it to do. And so in a lot of ways, the FSD software is an AI agent. For me. And I want to be able to take that same kind of approach and technology and apply it to other parts of my life. Like maybe improve my life, maybe make things more efficient, especially when I think about my online communications and my scheduling and my ability to get work done or work on projects that I want to do for others. That those projects can be done more efficiently, more effectively, and much more rapidly, and have a quality layer to them that is sometimes difficult to achieve. So I appreciate you listening to me today. I wasn't sure what I was going to talk about in this Behind the Wheel, but it seemed like a good topic to talk about how I'm thinking about what I'm going to do with this 2022 Model 3 Long Range. And I think possibly many of you out there that are Tesla owners, if you're watching this, are going through that choice right now because most of the Tesla vehicles that are on the road today are Hardware 3 or AI 3 cars. There's only a subset of the vehicles that are on the road right now that are Hardware
