¡Hola! Every startup begins with a dream and a community of support. For 15 years, The Founder Institute has been that community, bringing together entrepreneurs, mentors, and leaders across the globe, all united by a shared mission to empower communities of entrepreneurs to build great companies. What started as a simple idea of letting founders anonymously review and rate investors by co-founders Adeo Ressi and Jonathan Grecian has grown into a worldwide movement. Today, over 8,300 companies have launched through our programs, supported by a network of 35,000 experienced mentors. Our free startup events have reached more than 600,000 people worldwide, bringing access to startup knowledge and information across the globe, and our alumni have gone on to raise over $1.8 billion in funding. But beyond the numbers, it's the story of a global community coming together to help founders realize their potential. The journey began in Silicon Valley with a belief that great founders aren't born, they're made. From a single cohort at Stanford University grew a network of hundreds of chapters across the globe, proving not only that great founders are made, but that they can come from anywhere. We have spent the last 15 years making entrepreneurship accessible And for the next 15 years, our goal is to make impact accessible because we believe that entrepreneurs are the greatest catalyst for societal change. The idea that profitability and impact must be at odds is outdated. We've seen this through startups like Udemy, who've helped upskill millions of people to achieve better personal and professional outcomes. Through Isusu, who have empowered renters to build credit while maximizing property outcomes for managers and owners. Through Swarkit, who've built technology and programs that help children lead healthier lives. All these are just a few. There are thousands more doing their part. While one startup might seem like a drop in the ocean, imagine tens of thousands of entrepreneurs, each building businesses that have both positive economic and societal impact. Together, their collective impact has the power to transform humanity. That's why we believe there should be countless more startups working to uplift, empower, and impact people, communities, and the planet. This journey won't be easy, and there will be much to learn along the way. But with the help of our incredible community of startup leaders, mentors, founders, investors, and more, we know we'll get there. Let's create a better world through entrepreneurship.
