Founders say they take risks but often don't. Raising capital before you have product-market fit forces you to chase milestones like $10 million ARR before you're ready, leading to bad decisions and misaligned strategy.
Founders are very willing to take risk, but when you actually like boil it down, they're actually quite risk-averse. To me, what I see is that money without fit or without a good portion of fit, if you think across our model, is a recipe for disaster. You're going to make all the wrong decisions at all the wrong times because it's, well, it's time to be at $10 million ARR. I guess I better come up with a plan for $10 million ARR.
