Startup funding has shifted dramatically. Investors now back companies anywhere, not just Silicon Valley. AI is the dominant sector attracting capital right now.
One thing I've noticed over the last, call it 5 to even 10 years, is a much greater openness by investors for investing in things outside the US or outside of Silicon Valley. You know, so that's really cool. Like, that used to never really happen very much, right? You had to be physically headquartered in Silicon Valley or maybe San Francisco to raise money from Silicon Valley investors. That's opened up a lot more, which is really cool. That's kind of what's been changing, you know, very significantly over the past few years. Going forward and today and going forward, it's AI.
