Hi, my name is Karen Gordon-Brown, founder of Cottage Conversions. You know, baby boomers live well. They eat right and exercise—keys to a long life. So their population is burgeoning, with 4,000 turning 85 every day for the next 20 years. And when it's time for assisted living, baby boomers big box facilities won't do. These boomers will pay $5,000+ per month for a residential setting with top-notch care. But this is an emerging market, and these homes are far and few between. And traditional developers are just slow. So I founded Cottage Conversions to meet this demand, making it easy for investors to fund assisted living conversions. Our paid members browse conversion projects, and Cottage Conversions gets paid a percentage on all funded projects. We're seeking $50,000 to pinpoint conversion-ready cottages. That's Cottage Conversions. Thank you.
Hi, I'm Lamar Key, and I'm the founder and CEO of Nimbus, an on-demand delivery service and marketplace for cannabis. Cannabis is exciting, right? What's not exciting is paying up to 70% more than you did last year for the same products. Also, what's not exciting is seeing your profit margins continue to drop in a saturated economy. These are the two problems that are faced by both the consumer and the cultivator, and our solution for that is connecting the two over our true marketplace. In our marketplace, the cultivator can interact directly with the consumer over our platform. Allowing the cultivator to set their price and the consumer to pay what the cultivator charges. The cultivator making 70% of the final price, raising their profit margin, and the consumer paying up to 60% less for the same products. That's what we're all about at Nimbus.
Hello, my name is Dennis Cobos and I am the CEO of Bright Square. Currently, the rental process is extremely painful. Having to use multiple online tools to perform your research. Then the application process itself is still mostly being done by paper. If you want to apply to multiple properties, you will pay multiple fees and you will affect your credit. We are a rental housing platform that helps renters who are tired of having to limit themselves on the number of properties they apply to because of the application fees and because they don't want to damage their credit score. By providing a centralized solution where they can search, view, and apply to multiple properties with their reports attached, all by paying a one-time fee. We make the process of finding a rental home affordable, painless, and transparent for the renter, while for the landlord, we reduce the risk of liability and eviction while giving hours back of productivity to them. This is BrightSquare.
My name is Dayo Gbeni-McIntosh and I am the founder of Dayo, a DIY platform for customized hair and skincare products. Think of us as the Build-A-Bear of the personal care industry, and we found a really cool way to optimize our operations with our consumer-facing robot. I don't know about you, but for me, it is always challenging to find products in the market that cater to my unique hair and skin needs. To make things worse, majority of these products have harsh chemicals and toxins that cause everything from allergies to reproductive dysfunction and even cancer. Several years ago, I had a couple miscarriages that forced me to rethink my self-care. As a woman of color, I didn't feel that my needs were represented in the market, so I created DIO for myself and the underserved market. DIO is poised to disrupt this $42 billion industry with our forward-thinking solution and we are seeking $250,000 to reinforce our MVP. We are changing the personal care experience for millions of women.
Hello, my name is Hector Villaseñor and I'm the founder and CEO of Cannna. One of the things that I noticed as a cannabis consultant over the last 2 years is that the cannabis marketplace is risky and costly to enforce. As a cultivator, you risk not getting paid for products by a distributor. As a distributor, you risk paying for products that are going to fail testing. And as a retailer, you risk paying for products that simply aren't going to sell. So what is the solution to all of this? Well, we're very excited to announce CAMBIT, the smart contract marketplace for legal cannabis. In our platform, by leveraging smart contract technology, we make it possible so that you as a cultivator can get paid in real time or set terms. As a distributor, you only pay for product that passes testing. And as a retailer, you get an increase in consistent product selection. At Kanban, we make it possible so that you can bend.
