Mehdi and two other founders are launching Founder Institute in Vienna to fill a gap in Austria's startup ecosystem. The program operates in over 60 countries and 115 cities, giving local entrepreneurs access to global networks and markets beyond Austria's smaller domestic base.
Hi, my name is Mehdi. Having been an entrepreneur for many years and in the startup scene for more than 10 years now in Asia, as I came back to Austria last year, I found a big gap in the ecosystem. And as I have been mentoring with the Founder Institute for some time, I found the idea of bringing the Founder Institute back here in Austria as a good fit to fill that gap.
I am familiar with the Austrian startup ecosystem for several years now and know almost any Austrian initiative in this area. The Founder Institute is unique because of its international focus on business development and the included proven curriculum.
Especially for those startups and young entrepreneurs for whom the Austrian market is too small, the founder institute is a great opportunity to go abroad, to go international, because it has the network for that. And it's present in over 60 countries and 115 cities.
So we're launching a chapter in Austria now, and we're very excited about the journey to come.
