It's important that you have a personality and that that personality is expressed as the CEO of a startup. I think there's 3 kinds of founders that I've seen working at FI. The founder, the company founder who has this thing like burning in their brain they can't get rid of, it pisses them off every day and the product or service has to solve this problem, right? The second type is the founder who sees an opportunity, is kind of an opportunist, is like, hey, there's a big market opportunity over here, I want to go solve it. And the third kind of founder is completely unemployable doing anything other than running their own company. I fall into that category now after having done this for so long. You just need to know your strength. It does not matter for your success whether or not people like you. It makes literally no difference. You just have to be who you are. And you've got to do your personality, whatever it is, turned up to 11 or 12 so people can hear you and feel you.
