What do the most successful athletes, influencers, billionaires all have in common? I'm talking about the Logan Pauls, MrBeasts, Jake Pauls, you know, Floyd Mayweather, Tyson Fury, Conor McGregor, Muhammad Alis, Mike Tysons, Tiger Woods, Ronaldos, Messis, Tom Brady, LeBron James, Usain Bolts. Every single person who has made it throughout history has shared one thing in common, and it is they believe in themselves and they visualize their way to success. I'm not talking about any hoo-ha nonsense over here. But these people, these top 1% of people, were called lucky from birth. But actually, what allowed them to succeed while others suffer is the reality that anyone can succeed no matter the hand and cards that they were dealt with. And this is very true because our thoughts have the power to truly transform our lives. Throughout history, some of the brightest minds have succeeded not because of luck, but because of sheer willpower and belief in themselves. The trick lies in looking in the mirror, and the first step towards succeeding relies on thinking that you can and believing in the future. You will succeed. It is the mentality that sets apart, you know, the super rich from the average Joe. Whether, you know, you think you can, you can't, you are right. That's the famous quote by Henry Ford, and it couldn't be more true. You know, Logan Paul, one of the most famous influencers in the world who fought Floyd Mayweather and now has a potential, you know, billion-dollar beverage company, even calls himself a delusional optimist where he believes he can achieve anything in life without limits. And same goes with his brother Jake Paul. And you might think, you know, I could never become a CEO, I could never go to Harvard, I could never become a billionaire. And you're right, you know, that's an accurate representation of your future, because as long as you continue to look towards your future as impossibilities based on your past instead of opportunities, you will achieve exactly that at all, you know, whatever you think you achieve. And instead, you need to switch your mindset to one of positive, believing in yourself where you are capable in achieving anything. And it's a belief that, you know, I might not be the best right now, but one day I will be. And the trick is to never lose the belief even when challenges are thrown your way. You know, all the top athletes share this in common. Muhammad Ali even said, has a famous quote, that he believed he was the greatest even before he was. And they did a study a while back in the early 2000s. You know, scientists wanted to see how fleas would react when they were placed in two different environments, The first, they measured how high fleas would jump in their natural habitat, and the only thing stopping them from jumping as high as they could was themselves. And the scientists then put the fleas in a jar with a lid on the second environment, and this lid was significantly lower than the maximum jumping capabilities that they had, and the fleas could only jump as high as the scientists set the lid to be. And after 3 days in the jar, the scientists released the fleas and they could pursue their utmost potential, jumping and reaching new heights. Yet the fleas didn't, and they jumped to the exact length that the lead has been set to them. And with a different example, there's also this very famous photo of this elephant. Since birth, a rope was tied to one of its legs, and when it's small, it couldn't move. But when it grew up to be a huge elephant, it could easily break away from the rope, but it was so conditioned mentally that, you know, it couldn't break away from the rope. Even when it's big, that it didn't ever attempt to. So what I'm trying to say is, you know, we've been told by society and external factors that, you know, the lid is the maximum that we'll ever achieve our potential. Where the barrier was removed, the fleas would still jump to the exact same height that people told that they could achieve. And even when the actual barrier no longer existed, they had been conditioned to only jump to that certain height and didn't dare jump higher because it was told to be impossible. Same with the 4 Miles run. And the moral of this is the moment we succumb to our environment, it's when we instantly stop to push the barriers and boundaries of what's possible that we can achieve. And the fleas, the elephant, you know, 4-minute mile, it's all the lid that shows that, you know, it's capping our potential. And there are many lids that set us throughout lives, you know, school, parents, income, race, skin color, gender, our country. The list goes on on what lids stand in our way to the road to success. But as long as we continue to tell ourselves that there's a lid above our heads, we'll continue to suffer the same fate as the fleas, the elephant, the 4-mile run. And instead of thinking that I could never do this or I couldn't imagine doing that, think in terms of the potential and positivity that I may not be able to do this right now, but in the future I can. And this is a small but powerful shift in your mindset because you address that right now you might not be where you want to be, and maybe you aren't making as much money that you're hoping to be, and maybe you didn't get into, you know, your dream college, or more on a on a personal level, maybe, you know, you got rejected by the love of your life, you know, instead of saying that it's impossible for me to find love or whatever, you know, get to Harvard, you know, be rich, right now it's difficult for me, for example, but in the future I would find a way as long as I continue to pursue and persevere through it. And this mental switch is the first step in achieving all that life has to offer, the unlimited abundance that our life has to offer. You can choose to set the lid over your head, or you can choose to jump to the moon. Every single one of us has had a lid placed on us before, and I'm no different. No, the trick is being able to overcome these limits and realize your true potential. For my own personal story, when I was still in college, I was watching all this super young online, you know, millionaire entrepreneurs at my age who made money, loads of money in business, but made really poor life choices outside of business. You know, they would like honestly make the dumbest and silliest of mistakes when it comes to finances, health, love life, their way of thinking and choices. And mostly they were just a one-trick pony in terms of knowing how to make a specific business model work to make money. And I remember a life-changing quote from Steve Jobs who said that, you know, this world was created by people no smarter than you. And I thought to myself, if these people who are no smarter than me could do it, I can definitely do it 100 times better. And I realized what many people at the top, you know, they weren't more hardworking, talented, or smarter. They were just really lucky to be in the right circumstances, to have, you know, gotten, for example, to Ivy League schools. Let's say if, you know, they were sent to the right feeder school before that, or became super rich, you know, right place, right time, right connections, you know, right family, right parents. And a lot of billionaires, even like Mark Cuban, would tell you that, you know, in interviews, that a lot of billionaires had tremendous luck on their side to be that successful and that rich. And the lesson is, once the lids are removed, there's no upper limit to your potential. All that remains is finding that singular thought and desire and pursuing it at full speed. And once you believe that you can achieve something, you know, the next step is to turn that fantasy and belief into reality. It needs to be something that you obsess over constantly. It needs to be, you know, the only thought you have in your mind when you wake you wake up, when you go to bed. Take MrBeast, for example. You know, he's by far the most successful YouTuber in history, and he has no plans on stopping. And he has credited most of his success to his deep obsession towards YouTube. You know, he made a choice. He believed that he could succeed, so he devoted every waking second of his life to achieving this dream of his, despite the lids that were placed on him from a very young age, coming from a poor family. And he would spend, you know, 15 hours a day working on YouTube, and even decades of his life, you know, before he found success— constantly sleepless nights nothing else, and he even had to sacrifice video games that he was playing and friends and all that just to make sure that YouTube is the only thing that matters to him. And even billionaires like Elon Musk even sold all his homes and even sleeps in the office when he said, quote unquote, when he has a day that he needs to work more on. And there's a saying I'm fond of that, you know, you can only carry so many plates before you drop all of them. Every single person have the same 24 hours in a day to do whatever they like. People like MrBeast decided, and, you know, Elon Musk chose to spend their time making the best plates possible. In order to achieve and let go of every other plate. As a result, you know, they were able to achieve what no one else could possibly achieve. And MrBeast, you know, made YouTube his life, and as such, he did the impossible. But he also believed in his single desire to become the best and biggest YouTuber to ever exist. That's his number one goal. And despite finding success, you know, he didn't let that clutter, you know, his judgment and his original vision and purpose. And everyone has different values and beliefs, but you want to become like the greats, you need to become obsessed. You need to find that one thing above all else to pursue with 110%. And you know, the world of 8 billion people right now is a really competitive place where most people don't even have the bandwidth to be number one at two things. Even Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player alive, quit baseball to return to basketball because he knew he could only be world champion at one thing. And that's why you don't see, you know, champion athletes doing two sports. The best MMA fighters stay in MMA, the best boxers stay in boxing. And when you want to transfer to another spot, it usually doesn't doesn't end well, no matter how good you think you are. Just take a look at Conor McGregor, you know, UFC world champion. When he tried to fight Floyd Mayweather at boxing, he lost. Francis Ngannou, another UFC legend, got KO'd trying to fight in boxing. And that's why you don't see, you know, CEOs of billion-dollar companies running two companies at the same time. That shows you a lot, that we can only really focus and be a grandmaster at one particular field. With that said, the worst thing you can do is linger in the state of indecision. It is better to pursue something than pursue nothing at all, at least when you're trying to figure it out. And finding that single, you know, thought and desire and pursuing it with all that you have is paramount to your success. Every single one of you have the power to shape your destiny, you know, however you see fit. You can do anything you want, but you can't do everything, you know. Take it from the first African-American billionaire, Oprah Winfrey. She said, you can have it all, just not all at once. Or similar quote, you know, you can have anything but just not everything. And you only have so much time in one day. If you decide to pursue 5 different passions and hobbies, you'll be mediocre at all 5 of them. But if you want to be best at one thing, it's just a numbers game, you know. If you evenly divide your time among 4 different activities, you can only spend at best 4 hours a day on each. But if you choose to obsess over that one singular thought of yours, you can put in 15 hours a day and surpass everyone else in the field, just like people like MrBeast and all the world's top athletes. So you must pick a domain expertise and stick with it for years to have the compounding effect and specialized knowledge gained from in-the-trenches experience and years of being in that industry for it to kick in that outsiders wouldn't have. And that, you know, could be e-commerce, copywriting, sales, creating, you know, viral videos, whatever it is. The trick is to do that while staying true to your personal values. And we have all heard of stories and watched movies where greed takes over, where the goal no longer becomes of altruistic intent but for personal gain. And what separates the weak from the strong is that the strong are able to stay true to your core values and your original vision no matter what life throws at them or no matter what distractions they have. So I urge you for you to find your value, your vision of what you wanna be the best at. And with all that said, you're bound to encounter challenges. You know, it's not a golden brick road or rainbow in the sky to the world of your dreams. It's filled with ups, downs, but you do not have to get discouraged 'cause every single person in history who has been successful has failed a lot of times. That's the prerequisite to success. But no matter how hard it gets, you know, you got to keep going. I've personally failed more times than I can count, but still here I am, you know, self-made multimillionaire today. And a lot of quotes from a lot of the most financially successful people or top athletes would say that the only reason that they're successful is because they have failed and failed, and through those failures and mistakes, that here they are where they are right now. And that goes same with me, which I believe to be really true.
