Jason Calacanis looks for builder founders who move fast, ship great design, and have worked together before. Teams that have raised money or exited once already know how to navigate a startup.
And when I'm looking at companies, I like builder founders, I like product velocity, I like world-class design. These are things that, you know, all have to do with, um, the product, right? This eventually means great product. And then we love serial teams, a team that has worked together before, critically important. A team that's raised venture capital before or had an exit, that's really appealing because they've been there, right? So these are just some of the factors I'm looking for in that early team.
