Hi everybody, happy Monday! It's Monday of a really big week, and what I want to talk with you about in the next few minutes that we have together is I want to talk with you about 3 things. And just 3 because really there's so many. Numberless. That's really not the phrase. There's so many things that you can do with your signature talk once you have one in your business. And that's really important because you often are saying, okay, I think I want to use speaking in my business. I want to get out front. I want to be more visible. I want to serve my audience in this way. I want to have that sort of leverage and influence that speaking allows us. And yes, yes, yes, yes, I'm on board with that. High fives all around. But let me be really specific with you about the ways in which you can use it in your business. Once you have a signature talk, it is such a powerhouse for you and your business. So I wanna share 3 of them with you. The first one is that your signature talk becomes the basis for your weekly content. And we all know as entrepreneurs and changemakers, if we wanna be known as a thought leader, In our industry, we need to be really consistent about what it is that we talk about. And so once you have your signature talk, you are establishing those core, what I call, uh, content pillars. And once you have your content pillars, you can use those consistently in the rest of your business. So your signature talk becomes the foundation of that. And then it shows up, that same consistent subject, that focus comes up in all of your content across the board. It's really incredible how much we need to repeat ourselves to become known about something. So your signature talk is that core messaging piece, and then it shows up around those content pillars that are in your talk and that are also in your weekly content. Amazing. Okay, so that is the first thing. The second thing is once you have your big signature talk, it's really easy to adapt that into smaller or bigger situations. So a great thing to do, especially in this realm of virtual speaking, is to turn your talk into a revenue-generating webinar. Oh, let's do that. Essentially how we do that is you're gonna take the core of your signature talk and you're going to adapt it and expand it and make it a little more interactive depending on how much time that you have. But it becomes your outline that you can then use to make shorter for shorter situations and much longer for longer situations. Awesome. All right, now the third thing that you can do with your signature talk signature talk and how to leverage that for your business is how many of you, speaking isn't just on the list, but writing that book is on the list. Or maybe you've written the book and now you wanna turn the book into a talk, or sometimes the talk is the preface to the book. It works both ways. I've worked with many speakers. I've worked with many speakers who start with the talk and the talk becomes the book. Well, the talk is a fabulous way to start with an outline for your book. Now, a book is very different than a talk and your outline's gonna get much more intricate and much longer when you're in a book situation. But it's an incredible starting point. And how many of us, would just love to know how to get started on something like that. Okay, those are just the first 3, but honestly, you can adapt it to dozens of situations, hundreds, countless. Your podcast interview that you've got coming up, you're gonna think about what are the points that you wanna make and what are the stories that you wanna draw in. Well, your signature talk probably has some of those. And the process of creating a signature talk is going to help you even deepen and expand your content library that you can call on and use again and again and again.
