Speaking without risk doesn't exist. Real growth happens when speakers deliberately seek bigger, scarier opportunities and invite audiences to do the same. Bravery catalyzes change.
Speakers cannot speak, or at least not very well, without risk. I mean, it's embedded into the act of stepping out front, which is why I think it's so exciting. So if you're not scared by your latest speaking gigs, we gotta get you bigger, scarier gigs, because that's where the magic happens. That's where we as speakers grow and change and push to new levels. And if we don't do that, we really can't expect our audiences to make big changes either. So when we risk, when we are brave, when we invite our audiences in to do the same thing, that's where the big stuff happens. So be brave.
