The number one thing that people want to be in their speaking, even above authentic and funny or inspirational, is impactful. And of course, right? We want what we're doing to work. We want our words to matter. We want our ideas to stick. We want our movement to move. And here's the thing, we can only, and I mean only, create change change if we speak with emotion, if we utilize and think about the human impact and answer the pressing question that every audience member is asking themselves, which is, so what? Why does this matter in my life? What's the harm? If we can answer those questions by bringing the emotive reality into play, we can truly be impactful.
