Hi there, Linda Artesani, Artesani Bookkeeping. So for today's post, I'm going to shift gears a little bit. I know this past couple of weeks I've been taking you through the steps of being new to QuickBooks Online, and I'm just going to take 2 weeks off from that because I'm actually traveling to Rhode Island. I've got a new grandson coming on Monday, and I'm excited. I get to spend some time with my daughter and my grandson Shane, who I already have, and I'm going to get another grandson. It's going to be a good week. But also, it's going to be a good week because many of you know I was appointed to the Intuit Advisory Council this year, which was a dream for me. I've been applying for it. I think I've applied a few times and never been selected. So it was really exciting for me to find out that I was selected to that group. What was exciting was I've only gone to one meeting, but only gone out for one trip out to California. But it was interesting to meet A, the president of the corporation, to see the campus, Intuit's campus, to meet people who I've had contact with via emails or Facebook, to meet them in person. I met, you know, people I've been friends with for years and I get to meet them in person and they're just as lovely in person as they were that I've known all these years. So that was exciting. And which leads me to, as one door opens, right, some other doors open. I've also been very active on the Intuit Community Forum. I think I'm in second place. I'm not quite sure, but I've answered questions for years. I've got like 20-something thousand questions that I've answered on the Community Forum, which is a great place to learn about QuickBooks. And I think some people don't know that it exists. So what's come of that is with my contact with one of the people at Intuit that's in charge of the forum, one of the moderators. We've put together a show that we're going to do live, Facebook Live via the community forum to give that forum and that board a little bit more pizzazz, a little bit more excitement around the page but also to share our knowledge. So I'm going to be doing that with a friend of mine that I've actually not met in person but we've had many meetings and we met on the community forum. He Messaged me back a year ago, December, and wanted to connect. And that's the big thing about the whole point around the show is making those connections and sharing your knowledge. So Matthew Fulton at Parkway Business Solutions is my partner on the show. I'll take you to the page if you'd like to register. I'll put these links in here. So there's Matthew. And what we're going to do is we're doing a 30-minute show, so it's not going to be long. It's going to be full of content and it's going to— we're going to answer questions on the forum live. So you're welcome to watch the show, ask questions. If you have a QuickBooks question, you can ask us and we'll answer it right there on the spot, as many as we can in that time frame. We're also picking a topic every week to speak about. In fact, I think on this page it tells you there's a little show clip here. And it's going to show you some of the things we're going to work into the show every other week. So it's this Thursday, August 30th, 10 AM Pacific, 1 PM Eastern. And these are some of the topics. We're going to do a little East Coast, West Coast thing too, because I'm on the East Coast, the better coast, and Matthew's on the West Coast. So here's our Facebook page, and I wanted to share that as well. And the Facebook page is going to be a place that you can ask a question ahead of time, and then we will Maybe answer it right on the Facebook page. Maybe you'll see it on the show. So it's a private group, so you can ask away. Feel free. Matthew and I control it, so it's within our hands. Feel free to ask a question. You can just comment. You can join the group. I will, you know, if you ask to join the group, we will put you in here. And it's going to be fun, and that's the whole point of this. So I've been writing some articles for QuickBooks too, and I think that All the every way we can get our knowledge out to help people is going to be a way of us to share and give back, right? So that's the whole point behind the show and the and being in with the Facebook group. So I hope that you'll join us on Thursday, August 30th for the 30-minute show. It will be taped too. So if you can't do that time frame, you can reach out to our Facebook page. Join it. You'll be able to watch the past shows. And if you have a topic or a suggestion. Or something that you're struggling with, or just maybe check out the forum. That's— it's gonna be a show that will help you navigate through there. And the forum is not just about QuickBooks, it's about growing your business, marketing your business, and a whole lot more. So I hope to see you there, and I hope to maybe reach out to you and connect with you, and maybe we can help each other. Because it's really when you meet up with someone like I met up with Matthew and Even though it's virtual, we're still able to connect and collaborate, and that's the key. The two of us have collaborated. We come from different strengths, and the two of us together are stronger. And if we can build a community that will help share our knowledge, and then we'll all grow from it. So that's the goal. That's the point of it all. So I hope to see you this this coming week, and I hope you ask to join our group. We'd love to have you, and I'm looking forward to it. I'm really excited and excited about that new grandbaby. So thanks for watching. Bye. I know.
