Hi there, Linda Ardisani, Ardisani Bookkeeping. I wanted to share with you a few little items that you may not even be aware of in the program QuickBooks Online. Seems like every day they're changing things or you find things you didn't even realize were there. I'm going to come to the sample company of Craig's Landscaping and Design. As you know, anything to do with transactions is under the plus sign, so you put all your transactional things in here. Anything in settings or other— mostly settings are here. Account settings, you can manage your users, you can create custom forms. Your recurring list is here. Your list of attachments is here. So if you've attached documents, I'm not even sure there's anything in here, but if you've attached documents in QuickBooks Online, you're going to find all your attachments here. So if you're looking for a specific attachment, You can actually search for your attachment here in this list. So that's there. Another thing that I really like is this feedback button, and you can type in anything. You can report a bug. Last night there was a big bug where people were in the online banking screen and they were getting error 404, which is usually clearing the cache or out of your browser error, but it was everybody, a whole sweeping bunch of people had the same error, and it had something to do with into it and it wasn't a specific user. So this is a place that you can actually attach a bug, you can attach a photo if you need to, if there's something that you're looking for that's not in QuickBooks Online that you'd like to see, like preferred vendor account. Let's see if that's in here, if anybody has put that in there. A spot for signing up for a preferred vendor account. This is what was in Desktop, so you can say, I want this, and then you can add your name in here and your email, and then they'll get— they'll add that to the list of people. So that's in here, and they're always evolving QuickBooks Online. It's always ever-changing. So this is— it's a nice little feature. Say you need help with something. One of the things I see a lot on QuickBooks Online is people will go on there. You— if you have payroll, part of payroll is you are getting support included with your subscription. So if you're asking a payroll question and you have QuickBooks Online Payroll, whether the Enhanced or the Full Service, then you should contact payroll support. So I'll give you a couple links in the blog post itself for that, but you can also click here and access your support. So it'll come up here with the support. You can contact them, you can find an accountant, or you can add yours. So there's a way to do this. So if you're in your own account, you will see actual phone numbers depending on your level of service, and you can contact them, especially for payroll. It is part of what you're paying for in your monthly fee. So know that that's part of it. You want to reach out to the community, it's there. If you want to reach out to me individually, you can just add @Linda, and then I will get that as an email directly to me. So if you add the sign in front of my name, my username, and you'll see me on the main listing. And you can reach out to me there. Just a few little things that are in here. One of the other buttons I really like here at the top is Search. So you can search for transactions. Here's my recent transactions that are in here. You can do an advanced search. I love this button. I use it all the time with my customers. You can search by many parameters. A lot of times I pick All Transactions and I'm looking for a specific amount. Maybe I'm reconciling and I'm off by that amount. So I save this. Sometimes I'll even open that in a separate window. So you can come over to here and click Advanced Search. And if I right-click here, it will open the link in another tab. So I can stay working in whatever I was working in and have this window open at the same time. So I can toggle back and forth. Know that if you do the tabs, that you should be wary of if you do a change in here and you come back to this screen, then you need to hit the refresh to refresh the page so it gets in tune with what you did on the other page. So that's just a few little tips on some of the little things that are in here. For example, the other day I did not realize that there was a spot for— let's see where journal entries are here— there is a spot for reversing a journal entry. That was never a feature in QuickBooks Online until recently, and somebody had said that it was there, and I didn't realize it was there because I came down here, it's not here, where is it? Well, you actually have to enter the entry first to get that option to populate at the bottom. So see the word reverse came in here when I actually pulled a saved transaction on the screen? So it's another little feature that's in QuickBooks Online, but if you don't realize it's there, if you're on the main screen and you're saving a new one and you haven't saved it yet, it's not there to access. Just Make Recurring is. So you actually have to show a prior one on the screen or save the one you're on in order to see the reverse. So that's it in a nutshell. Just a few little things. I guess I should kind of call these hidden, hidden things. I'll add this to my hidden, hidden QuickBooks Online features that you may not know about. If you have any questions or want a future video on a specific topic, please reach out to me on Facebook and I'll provide that link at the bottom of the video. Again, this is Linda Ardisani, Ardisani Bookkeeping. Thank you.
