Happy Sunday, Linda. How are you doing?
I'm good. How about you?
I'm just lounging at the beach trying to make the best of my day. Figured I'd do a quick phone call in with you. My beach. Your beach, exactly. The East Coast beach. Got a pretty easy quick question for the day asking about QuickBooks Enterprise and whether it comes with a your ProAdvisor subscription or not?
Depends on which subscription you pay for, the cheap one or the more expensive one. So there's the pricing. You save yourself $200 by downgrading to Deluxe if you don't need the Enterprise.
Can you scroll up a little bit, Linda? Actually, I'm missing the bottom part of it. There we go. Okay, so you've got the ProAdvisor Deluxe, which is— that makes it to where we get the accountant's copy of QuickBooks Desktop, and that allows you to basically use almost all— you can use all the different Pro versions, correct? Even industry specifics. And then Premier does— what's the difference with Premier?
Well, Premier has just got all the bells and whistles that Pro doesn't have. But Enterprise is, of course, their big player for mid-market. So you get that. That's why they tell you it's $4,500 value because you do get a lot of other things. Point of sale thing. I never use point of sale. Don't use Enterprise that much, but I am certified in it. And I do have a few clients in it because it's, it's definitely a marketplace market for, you know, that mid-level size corporation. And it says QuickBooks Accountant Desktop Plus, which is what comes in the other one. And then of course, That lovely Mac version that we've been discussing.
Yes. Now, if I remember correctly, you also just recently did a blog article on enterprise and the different user permission levels, right? What's unique about that?
Oh, you can fine-tune your, your users down to everything. I mean, you can get it down to they can only see certain reports and they have certain— you can pick your employees. That's why it works for mid-market. So you maybe you have an accounts payable clerk that only does specific things. You can actually fine-tune it down and It's a pretty large chart and it can take you through exactly— you can find what you need to do with your employee and exactly what you want to give them, specific tasks and abilities. It's the only program that lets you get that granular with the users. So it's pretty cool.
Awesome.
And you helped me put it up on my blog. So thank you. I need my geeky techie guy.
So the quick answer to this one is yes. With the QuickBooks ProAdvisor program, if you go with the premium subscription, It's a little bit more, but you do get the enterprise copy also.
Correct.
