Hello, Linda Artesani, Artesani Bookkeeping, and I'm here to just do a short video on how to exclude transactions in the bank feed in QuickBooks Online. A lot of people don't even know it exists because it's kind of a hidden feature. So let me go here to Craig's Landscaping. I'm just going to come to the checking account, and for whatever reason, these shouldn't have been there, and I want to get them off my screen. I don't want to import them. Maybe you hooked up the bank account to the wrong account. Of course, you wouldn't see the matches here, but just pretend that this was an account where these transactions already entered, they didn't match for whatever reason, I want to get rid of them. So you're just going to select the ones you want to exclude. Then you're going to click on Batch Actions and you're going to Exclude the Selected. So what happens there is it takes them off of the screen, which is a really wonderful thing. Now what if you did that by accident and didn't mean to exclude them? Well, you've got this Excluded tab right here. You click on that and here they are. And then I can come up here and select them all and then undo what I just did. Now for example, let's say I did want to take those off and I'll show you a little trick here. If I click the first one, if you want to get rid of a lot of them in a row, click the first one and then hit the Shift key on your keyboard and then select the bottom one and it will select all the ones in between. And then Exclude Selected. Now say I want to get rid of them altogether so they're off the screen, they're no longer going to be matched at all in my system. I don't want to download them and now I want to exclude them altogether. Again, I can come over here, grab the top one, hit the Shift key, grab all of them, and then in this batch action, I'm going to delete them. And it tells you that they are not recoverable. So once you do this, it's a done deal. It's almost like deleting. So I'm going to hit Yes and now they're gone and they can't come back. I can't bring them back. They're gone. So that's the video. It's pretty brief, but it's to the point. If you have any questions or would like future videos, please go to my Facebook page, and that's Artisani Bookkeeping. If you just search that on Facebook, you'll be able to find it. Find it, and then if you'd like, you can, you know, post some video— post some questions, and I'll help answer the questions for you with some videos. Thank you so much. Bye now.
