Hi there, Linda Artesani, Artesani Bookkeeping. This is a much-needed video because I'm having actually a problem with my Intuit payment account generating the deposit like it's supposed to, and I've seen this on a couple of my customers, so I wanted to show you how you can go about fixing it. Clearly there's a problem in their system that's not making that work, so I'm going to bring you to my company file. and I came into my Bank of America account and I see that I have a deposit here for $1,575, but it's from Intuit Solutions. So this is your Intuit payment network, and it should match, right? So if I come over here, let's see if I can do it real simple. So the first thing I'm going to do is going to come to bank deposit, and if you've looked at my hidden things, you'll know that some of those are hidden under QuickBooks Payments. But as you can see, there's payments here and there's payments up here, and these are credit cards. They're the only credit card company that I have. So how do I know which one of these grouped together equals that $1,575? So the easiest way for me to figure that out is to come to the gear. I'm going to come over to company settings. I'm going to go into payments, and this is a way I can get into my merchant account. So there's my merchant account. I'm going to click on that. It's going to bring me right to my merchant account. And I want to see what's in that $1,575 so I know how to group my deposits. So I'm going to come in here to Deposits and I'm going to create a report. So it's the report as of today and I really need— that's the default. I really need the report of— let's just do this month and search. And here's my deposit, $1,575. So what's in it? Well, the 3 $175s are in there and the $1,050 is in there. So let's come back to this page where my bank deposits are, and I'll come up here and I'll click plus bank deposit, open up the QuickBooks payments that are hidden, and I know all 3 of these went in together, so I'm going to click those, and I'm also going to click this one because they're connected. And now you'll know that I have this deposit of $1,575. It was funded in my account on 2/23, so I need to put that as 3/23. And I'm gonna hit Save and Close. Now I've matched my record. So that's how you access your merchant account. Also, before I go to the end of this video, there's a lot of things in here that you can find out. You can email them, you can tell them what you want to have going on in here. You know, there's reports, you can go back to your home page, there's processing tools. It's a wealth of information. So if you want to come in here, you can really find it, and then you get your account number in here and everything else. So I hope that's helpful for you to understand how to reconcile those transactions. Don't just leave them be. Make sure that you put them back and put them in because you want to show them as being into the account. And I hope that makes sense and helpful, and you should be able to clear up that account pretty easily and keep that screen going. I noticed with a lot of my customers, if they get a clog like that, If I clean it up, it stops— it starts the automatic process because that's actually supposed to automatically happen. I'm not supposed to have to go in and do those steps. So if it clogs up, you need to fix it, and that's the best way to fix it. It's the most accurate way to fix it. It's the only way to fix it. So thank you for watching. I know it was a short video, but it's a good tutorial on how to enter those if they didn't happen automatically. And I know there is something going on with QuickBooks in that feature.
