A group fundraising for a Canada trip has raised about $900 so far and is hunting for cheap flights and Airbnbs. They're calling for more U.S. donors to out‑raise the Canadian side, and someone's betting they'll dye their hair Canadian red if the goal hits.

All right, mis tres amigos, we are doing a quick update on the journey to Canada, eh? Right?

So at this moment, I wanted to do a quick share of my screen to show all these awesome people. Um, we're at $900 right now. Wow.

So thank you, everybody that were— we wanted to be able to show who's donated to say thank you as well. Currently, we are at US $470, Canada $430.

So, guys, thank you again so very, very much. I've got— I have an appointment Monday morning at 7 AM down in Los Angeles for an appointment to get my passport. That means I'm getting up at 4 AM to do it, and you guys are absolutely worth it. So thank you. What else we got going on?
I've started looking at Airbnbs for us to stay at, so once we get the funding, we can pull the trigger there and get that booked. Most Airbnbs in that area have a 48-hour cancellation policy, so we are waiting for the funding.

We're still looking at airfare, right, so we can get to those parties though?
Yeah, I'm looking at airfare and, um, get some good rates, whatever we have to do to get us there. It's inexpensively— and it's inexpensively back too, so we can all work within our budget.
