170: From Subscription Box Week to Subscription Box Owner in 30 Days with Tracey Phillips

In this episode of the Launch Your Box podcast, host Sarah Williams interviews Tracy Phillips, co‑owner of Mindless Crafting, about how she turned a YouTube‑based crafting community into a recurring‑revenue subscription business in just 30 days. Tracy explains her background as a former librarian who began teaching crafting on YouTube, grew an audience of 178,000 subscribers, and launched her first product – a Christmas stamp kit – which sold 112 units. With her husband’s technical support, they built a Shopify store in 2019, sourced a U.S. manufacturer, and created a line of stamp sets. After joining Sarah’s Subscription Box Week, Tracy adopted the “one‑thing‑a‑month” model, launched a monthly stamp subscription via live streams, a sticky‑note wall, and a closed‑cart urgency strategy, ultimately signing up 109 subscribers in the first launch. The conversation also covers logistical hurdles (packaging, anchor vs. cutoff dates), personal challenges (family medical emergencies), the importance of community support, and actionable advice for aspiring subscription‑box founders: start simple, consume‑then‑act, leverage mentorship, and maintain authenticity. Tracy shares her contact details (mindlesscrafting.com, YouTube, Instagram) and encourages listeners to begin even if they feel afraid.

Welcome back to the Launch Your Box podcast. Today I'm talking to the Tracy, like the— we're just going to call her the Tracy. Tracy Phillip. But in the community, she's killing it and everybody knows that Tracy's killing it. So we're just going to call her the Tracy. Oh, what I love and what I want you to hear today on this episode is that Tracy is new to me. She came into my world over the summer. She took immediate action. She jumped in, got to work, and has had incredible results. So anybody that's listening right now, this is your permission to throw on your earbuds, take a walk, and listen to Traci and I have this conversation. You might be stuck. You might have jumped in excited and motivated, and you might be feeling a little bit like, okay, the excitement has worn off and I don't know what to do next. Or you might be feeling that I don't know if this can work for me. And I want you to listen to the conversation that Traci and I are going to have today. And get yourself re-motivated. This is the time. We're in one of the most special times of the year right now, and I want you to kick your butt back into gear. Let's get going. And I want you to be inspired, inspired by Tracy's story today. So Tracy, welcome to the podcast. Why don't we start with why don't you just introduce yourself and, and let's talk a little bit about your business and what you do.
My name is Tracy Phillips, and my husband and I are the owners of Mindless Crafting. And Mindless Crafting is an online store where we have items for paper crafters and card makers. Me, myself, being a crafter, I started out on YouTube, and then once we started to get a following, we decided to open up a store.
Okay, so you were just doing it to get in front of an audience? Is there a purpose behind it? What was the reason you just started crafting on YouTube without anything to sell?
I always loved teaching. And so as a former librarian, for me, teaching was something I'd always wanted to do. And I said, you know what, maybe if I start making, doing something that I love, like making gift baskets, that's how I started making gift baskets. I said, I, I hit the record. It wasn't perfect, and I just started showing them how to make gift baskets because it was something that I liked, and maybe there's someone else out there that liked it too. And then it just started to escalate into other things, and I started picking up a following, started dabbling in some paper crafting.
Okay.
And my subscribers said, Tracy, why don't you do your own product? And I was like, I'm not sure about that. And so I told them, if we ever hit 100,000 subscribers on YouTube, we would all— we would go ahead and start a store.
That is a big, lofty goal. 100,000. Girl, tell me your ways because I'm sitting on 1,000 subscribers on the YouTube. I just started it last year. But it's incredible because you were just showing up and serving in the way that your heart wanted to serve, the way that you felt you could just bring light to the world. There was no ulterior motive. There was no selling of anything. There's just you being genuine and that teacher spirit in you wanted to just Show up and do the things. And now can we just add that you have 178,000 subscribers on YouTube right now? That's pretty incredible and amazing. And I don't want us to just slide that in without giving you props for that because that's really amazing. Okay, so you're doing the crafts, you're doing various different types of crafts, and your audience is like, you're amazing, why don't you make your own products? And you're like, I don't even know how to do that. How did that lead to the next step?
Okay, so what ended up happening is my husband, who whenever I ask him a question and say, hey babe, you think we can do this? His answer is always yes.
I love that.
His answer is always yes, we can do it. And so he said we can have our own line of products that would may help crafters, especially card makers, be able to make their own cards. And I was like, oh my goodness, we'd have to find a manufacturer. We have to do all of the little things. How you think about the end result, but sometimes it starts with just a phone call, right? And so let's find a manufacturer who could produce and let's see if we can find one here in the United States. And so I would have never dreamt that we would be able to have our own line of stamp sets for card makers and paper crafters and people who journal. And I found so many— that's why I found my tribe. Yeah, was with the encouragement. They asked the question, and then I turned to my husband, said— and he said yes.
Yep.
And then we just went for it. So we always teamed up on everything, me and my husband. So he's really the technical side and the now artsy side of pulling everything together for us.
Not only that, let's just give a little shout out to Bill here, because he's the supportive side too.
Yes.
I can't tell I can't tell you how many women tell me that they don't have a supportive spouse at home. And it really makes being an entrepreneur challenging when you feel like you're on an island by yourself and the person that's closest to you doesn't really believe that you can do it. So, to have him being your number one champion, cheerleader, but also being the problem solver guy. Okay, you want to do this? Let's go. We'll figure it out. Okay, you want to do that? Let's go. We'll figure it out. And I can see him doing that. For you, and that really allows you to work on what you do best in the business. So he's problem solving this big idea while you're showing up and you're really audience building. And people take that for granted so much, how important that audience building is. And you really did that in a serving way. One of the things I say all the time, Tracy, you probably know this, is that we've got to serve before we sell. Yeah, you were serving without ever having the intention of selling. So you got this incredible audience just based on you serving, and now it's really paying off for you.
It's really paying off. Yes.
Okay, let's go back to— I want to go back to the story because this is juicy. This is good. Okay, so we get Bill on the phone. He finds the manufacturer. We're starting to make our own stamp collections. This is amazing. So you launch an e-commerce business. Right?
Yeah, yeah.
Talk me through how you do that.
Okay, so we— the whole thing was you have to have somewhere for the money to go, okay? Yeah, before you start making the money, you need a place. Like, you need a business bank account and all of the things, and you need to know, like, where are these people going to go to buy your product. You need to have the store. So Shopify for us was the way for us to go.
Okay.
Hands down. And I'm a librarian, so I'm going to do my research. So that was, that's what ended up happening is we started our Shopify store in 2019.
Okay.
And we started with, Sarah, this is going to sound strange, one product in the store.
One stamp kit. One.
One. It was a Christmas kit. Okay. And we started it, you know, all along the way while we're trying to put this kit together, we knew we wanted to have the stamp in it. Okay, what else do card makers like? They want the paper. What else? I could— we like to use our little gel pens. We like to use our gems on our cards. I started to pull it together of all the things that I as a card maker would like in my box. And if I'm super excited, about it. My tribe is going to be very excited. We have— I call them crafty family because they're like, Tracy, whatever you put out there— and they have been telling me, whatever you put out there, we're going to be there to buy it.
I love this. So you put together basically a box before you even thought about having a subscription. You put together a Christmas craft kit, stamp making, card making kit.
Yes.
And you throw it out there? Was it— were you just on YouTube at this point? Had you been on Facebook or Instagram?
I was on YouTube, had 100,000 subscribers, but I wasn't doing as much on Facebook. Okay. I didn't have a group then. I have a group now, uh, Mindless Crafting Facebook group. So it was all on YouTube with the one product, and it had one stamp set in it for the card makers.
I love this so much.
And we did 100 of them.
You did your very first product. You sold 100 of these kits.
We sold 112 hours, Sarah.
How did that make you feel?
I was like, oh, wait a minute, we could have sold more. And I was like, we under—
we didn't buy any, right?
We underestimated the power of influence. Yeah, the power of having a following behind you who love and care about you and will push you to the next level.
Yeah, I love that.
So that always helped, the fact that we— I have this amazing group of people that I've never met. I said, y'all are the nicest people I've never met. That's what we always say. That— okay, so then it was the next thing, like, okay, Bill, we have no more product.
What do we do?
What do we do? Get on the phone with the manufacturer, find out what the next big holiday was, which was Valentine's Day.
Yeah.
And so now we were like, OK, so what would I want in a Valentine's Day box, craft box? Of course, it would be the stamp set, which is our own manufactured stamp set, our own brand. And then all the other things, little cutesy wooden heart cutouts, a few of the little gems, the colors red and purple and pink. So I would go through my whole mind thinking, writing all these things down of what would I want in my box and what would I be excited about. So if I'm not excited about it, automatically it clicks like they're not going to be excited about it if I'm not excited about it. So I only pick the products that I know they're going to be excited about, and I know my community That's the big key for us, is that we know who our community is. We, we talk to them on the phone sometimes. We get on the live streams, okay? And we do releases live. Yeah.
So now let's fast forward. So I'm sure we had a lot of kits come out. We've made more products. You've got stamp kits that are stamp sets that are just stamps. You've got, you got lines of stuff now. You've been working it. Your audience is loving it. You keep growing your YouTube because now we know you're at 178,000 subscribers over there. And so what made you decide to sign up for my subscription box coaching week? Now, first of all, tell me how you found me because I'm curious about that.
I found you on Facebook ads, and you know what it was about you, Sarah?
What?
It was your authenticity. I said, if I'm going— because we've been wanting to do subscriptions, they've been asking Tracy, do subscriptions. I don't know how. So I'm thinking, I need to know the how before I put something like that out there, right? And it was something that you said that made me feel like I could do it. Yeah, if I follow what this woman says, who I don't know, this woman named Sarah Williams, I could actually do this. Yeah. And I told my husband, I was like, Bill, went back to ask him the question.
Got that support system, right?
Look at her video and look what she's doing. Look what she's saying. Not only that, I said, I like her. I don't even know her and I like her. You just come across as someone who could be my friend. Who I can, like, just have a conversation with. And even if I make a mistake, you'll say, look, the mistake is behind you. We need to keep moving forward.
Yes, you got me right. Let's go have— let's go have margaritas because we could talk about this all day long.
Exactly. Exactly.
But let's just reframe that because that's the power of influence. I wrote that down when you said that a minute ago. That's the power of influence that you've been giving to your followers. You're who you are, you're serving genuinely, and that's the same person that I am. I am who I am. I don't hide that. I make mistakes often. I learn from them and I share what I'm learning. And I think that's why we connect, because we're very similar in that way.
Yeah.
So you come hang out with me for the week in Subscription Box Week, and you go through the lessons and all the things that I was delivering that week. And did it hit you right away that I should this one thing of the month subscription, or were you still thinking of maybe I should do the kit subscription?
I thought about the kit, but once you said— because I was like, oh, I don't know, is that doable? I— once you said, you know what, you could do a one thing in a month, I was like, I could do that. Let me start with that first and then possibly down the line branch out into something else. I can create a stamp set. I have a great relationship with my manufacturer. I could get them to produce stuff for me in quantities, and I can get on the phone and say, I need more if I need more. Yeah, we built a great relationship with our manufacturer, and they're here in the United States. The shipping is fast. Yeah, so I like that. I was like, I was, even though I was coming out of my comfort zone, there were things that I could do, which was create the stamp set and put out one every single month.
And I call that the lowest hanging fruit, right? Because when we come into Subscription Box Week and we think about making a subscription, a lot of us lay in bed at night dreaming about this perfectly curated box and all these great things we can put in and our brain is spinning and we get excited about it. But in all honesty, it takes a while to get that going because there's a lot of moving parts to that. But when you think about your business and you think about what you sell regularly, you could literally just do a one thing of the month. This is where my t-shirt subscription came in. Like people are I'm buying t-shirts every day in my shop. Why wouldn't I just do a t-shirt subscription instead of trying to overcomplicate it with a whole thing called a monogram box that I regret most days and I love it most days. So it's one of those love-hate relationships, but we can knock out, we can knock out thousands of t-shirts in a half day. And it's incredible because it gives us a lot of momentum every single month. And it's not as complicated. It's not as overwhelming. There's not as many moving parts as all the things that go in the subscription box. And packaging is a whole lot cheaper too.
Yes. Yes.
You decided, okay, did you make that decision while you were in Subscription Box Week or did that come after?
Actually, it came out. I think you, you mentioned it because I was thinking box. And then after, as I started to like really get into the group.
Okay.
And really start to look at some things, it was something on one of your, your lives. You said something about a one thing of the month. And I was like, I could— that's doable right now. That's doable because I wanted to start now. I didn't want to wait 2 months or 3 months. I wanted to start within that 3-week period.
Wow.
I told my husband I wanted to launch like in that month of July, basically.
And we had— for everybody listening, we had coaching week in the middle of June. She was wanting to launch in July, like she's ready to go, y'all. And so You join us in Launch Your Box. Now you come into the community. Talk to me about how you felt in the community. Tell me about what you love about Launch Your Box. What were your favorite things that you immediately started to consume? Okay.
So the modules immediately started to consume. I would consume and then do the action. Consume, do the action. I'm not one of those people that do, I got to do the entire thing. And my husband will tell you that too.
And I think that's the best thing. You've got to implement as you go because you if you don't, you're going to have to go back and rewatch to implement by the time you get done with all the modules. There's 60 lessons in that library. And so it's taking one module, going through those 6 or 8 lessons, really understanding what that module is about, and then implementing. And then if you've got to go back and rewatch something, you've got it there for life. But you've got to make sure that you're making progress along the way. It does us no good just to consume, consume, consume, and never take action.
That part. Yep, that's the part right there. And so I consumed and took action, consumed and took action. When you did your launch, you put those sticky notes on the wall.
I still have them.
I said, Bill, we're going to go live at night and I'm going to put those sticky notes. When people sign up, I'm going to put the sticky notes on the wall. And for some reason they love seeing their name because I know I love seeing my name on your wall. Yes. Yeah, I put their names every time someone joined the subscription. I put— I wrote it down right there on the live and put it on the wall. So we were going live, like normally we go at 12 noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We went live like sometimes twice in a day. Hey, we're going to be on live tonight signing up more people. Who wants to get into the— be a charter member of the Mindless Crafting Club? And they were so excited. They were like, oh my goodness, Tracy. I want to get in this. How can I get in this? And not only did we have that, here's the beauty of my community. They went and gifted subscriptions for other people in our community.
I love that.
Who said, I can't afford one right now, but I want to be able to— some people stepped up and said, I want to donate to this person because a lot of them know each other because we're in the group.
Right. You built this incredible community that are very tight-knit. You called them your crafty family, right?
Yeah.
So they're very tight and you've been doing this for a lot of years. So they've been hanging out with each other every Tuesday and Thursday, right? For a lot of years.
They sure have. Yeah.
I love this. Okay, so now we, we're getting ready to launch. You've consumed, you've implemented. I saw you in the group asking questions left and right. Talk to me about this. And you were working through it and I was just like, Oh my gosh, she's going to do this. She's going to launch this. I'm so excited. She's working. And you launch and tell me how that launch went.
Oh my goodness. It was incredible to see all of those. We set up, we set everything up. We implemented with Payroll. We got to know how to collect every month. That was a thing.
So that's an important part of the subscription.
So you look at the pieces that have to come together. and then you can leave the other pieces to come later. So I think sometimes we look at the whole picture and we don't look at the little bite-sized things that we can do. We have a Shopify store, we signed up for Payroll. If we have questions, Payroll has great customer service. If we make a mistake on the other side, Sarah's team— Sarah's team is awesome. Do not be afraid to ask questions. And they will get back to you so fast.
Yes.
And so whenever, even during the launch, we're having little tiny glitches, and go ask Sarah's team. If we had a payroll question, go ask their customer service. So we all along the way, even though we had little glitches, we just kept moving forward, moving forward, not trying to like— you made a mistake, you got to keep going, right?
We're going to make mistakes, Tracy. We're going to make a lot of mistakes. Being an entrepreneur is one big mistake after another most days. But it's those pockets of wins that keep propelling you forward. And all we need is one win and it'll erase like 20 mistakes we made in the last 2 weeks. And so we just have to know that we're going to make mistakes. We're going to hit, we're going to hit a sticking point, but we've got to be able to problem solve through that sticking point. We can't let those sticking points shut us down. Or we'll never make it, right? And so we just got to keep pushing forward. And I always say we got to do it messy, we got to do it scared, we got to do it unprepared. We just have to do it because that's how we get better. That's how we continue to uplevel. But if we never get started, we never have an opportunity to get better, right?
We're always looking for the perfect time, and the perfect time is actually now. It's now. And I started— I thought I wanted— our goal was I said, Bill, we get like 25 people.
No, you did not. I said, you would get 25 subscribers, 25 people, because we had the 5-day—
we had to give ourselves like a 5-day window.
Yeah.
And it was like, if we could get just 25 people. And so we launched live and all of a sudden people like started showing up and just buying a subscription. So at the end of the first night, I think we were somewhere at 50. And I even told them, I said, y'all, my goal was to have 25. And they were like, Tracy, you know how we do. They were like having a conversation with me like, if you think— and then they went in the group and they were like, Tracy's got a subscription, so we come live. She's going to ring the bell whenever someone signs up. So we were writing the names on the sticky label and ringing this little bell. And I had to go back like the next night. People were upset. They were like, Tracy, I didn't see my name on the sticky label.
You're like me, hours writing names out, making sure I got everybody, checking it twice. I'm like, good Oh my goodness. I'm like, I got—
hang on, I got to write some more names before I miss them, right?
Yes.
By the third or fourth day, we had about 80 people. We're going live because we're not afraid to livestream. Me and my husband livestream all the time.
I love that.
But those livestreams are powerful.
So powerful. Say it again, Tracy, for the people in the back that are too afraid to go live. Say it again.
The livestreams are powerful because people can see you. In all your authenticity, right? They can ask you questions. So if someone said, when is my account debited? How many times do I have to sign up? All of the questions you could ask it right there, and then people can watch the replay. And so you're putting something out there and it's still going over and over and over. We had 80 people by, I think, the third or fourth day. We had about 80 people signed up for the subscription.
And what were your final numbers on that first launch?
108 or 109, I believe.
109 is what I have in my notes. Yeah, 109. From someone who wanted 25 subscribers, you showed up, you did the work, you pulled out the launch plan inside the library, and you just made it happen. And everything wasn't perfect, and you didn't try to make it perfect. And that's the story that I'm telling here for all of you listening that are sitting there trying to make everything perfect and make everything work the way you want it to. We just have to take the lowest hanging fruit. For Tracy, that was that stamp. Yeah, of the month. It was easy. She knew she could implement it right away. She didn't overthink it, thinking she needed to have this perfectly curated box. That may come later. That may come after she has 1,000 subscribers in her stamp subscription.
Exactly.
It didn't have to happen now for her to get started. Now she has recurring revenue coming into her business. Now she knows how to work payroll. So when she has that other subscription, she knows how to exactly how to set it up. Now she knows what things she needs to get to her manufacturer, how quickly she needs them, how when she has to have her orders in. We just have to start to be able to keep getting better.
Yep.
Yeah, tell me about, tell me about your biggest challenges through this launch period, from the time that you joined Launch Your Box to launching. And now we're in month 2, you've sent out month 2 already. What have been your biggest challenges?
Let's see, probably working out the logistics, making sure that I have everything like the packaging, the labels, like everything balanced at the same time, and The shipping date. I think we were a little bit confused over the anchor date versus the cutoff window, whether to have an open cart or just keep it, do a launch. For us, I think closing the cart actually does help give you a sense of urgency and it keeps us, it helps us to know what numbers to order for the, for our manufacturer. And it, I like the closed cart so far. Okay. Yeah, I'm liking it.
You, you mentioned to me that the biggest challenge is staying focused even when major life events happen in your family.
That part right there. Yeah, because we were going through it. We were going through it at the same time. My sister had a medical emergency while we were launching, and my daughter had a medical emergency. I had to fly to D.C. I'm in Georgia. I had to fly to D.C. And look, me and my husband were still online chatting while working the business while I'm in DC and he's here. Yeah, keeping everything going. And then my husband had a medical emergency also.
Yeah, so we can't have that happen. We ain't got time for that.
So you have to work, you have to work through it. I'm used to doing that. I, and I noticed that sometimes when certain challenges come along it motivates you to say, you know what, I need to think differently. And there's always a way around it. And the answer, sometimes it doesn't come to you right away, but eventually it will. Yeah, I've been through stuff like this before. When I launched the YouTube channel, my daughter got sick. And not just for one year, she got sick for 5 or 6 years, right? So she was 12 at the time. And while she's in the hospital, Bill and I are still creating videos. Still putting out content, still moving forward. I eventually had to really find— go within myself to say, you need to find something you can do that can sustain, sustain you and your family while your daughter's in the hospital. Because I couldn't leave her at the children's hospital and I work full time. I was working full time as a librarian at that time. So my motivation was I need my time. Yeah.
It's valid.
How do I get my time so that I can take care of my family, take care of my daughter while she's now— but just going through that time, that was one of my biggest motivations was my time. So when you're going through those things, you have to think, what is your why? Time matters. And the only way for me to get that was to be able to leave my full-time job.
And I think this stage in my adult life, I'm in my mid-40s.
Yeah.
Time is more valuable than money. Do you know what I mean? And so when you think about building your business, yes, you want to generate an income for yourself that helps you live a comfortable life, but at the same time, you're trying to live your life. Like, we're not waiting to retire to be able to go and do things. I have kids that play sports. I want to be at every football game. I want to be at every basketball game. I want to be the mom at every soccer game bringing the snacks. That's who I want to be. And that's what's important to me. And that's why I built a business so that I could work it around my life and not make my life work around my job. And so that's what we're building. And that's what a lot of women want. A lot of women want this life of time freedom that we don't have when we work a 9 to 5. And I love that that's your why. And it's so important. I want you to hear what Tracy has to say. When life hits you, you're going to do one or two things. You're going to shut down and everything's going to go to the wayside, or you're going to persevere.
Yeah.
And so when we have a full-time 9-to-5 job and life happens, we still have to figure out our job, right? We still have to make a paycheck, right? So it's the same thing with your business. When life happens, because it happens to all of us. I have been through it myself. We have to figure out how to sustain the business and not lose momentum. You've got to keep pushing through it. It might be different than what it looked like before we have a life event happen, right? You have to be able to maintain it because stopping and starting over all the time doesn't work.
It doesn't.
Can't keep stopping and starting over. My mom was in the hospital for 3 months. And I quickly realized— this was 2019— that I was the bottleneck of my entire business. I had probably 4 or 5 employees at that time, but nobody could do anything without me looking over their shoulder. And I realized that I am stifling my business, and now they don't know how to function because I'm gone. And in that moment, it was like, okay, Sarah, stop resisting stop having so much control over everything. You're a control freak and you're really killing your own business. And so I want everyone to think about that. Life's going to happen.
Yeah.
And so we have to be able to adjust to whatever's happened to us, but we have to keep going if it's important to us. And you were like, this is so important to me. And it's more important now than ever because now my daughter's in the hospital. Right now, I really— I've been wanting that time freedom, but now I really need that time free. And so I love this story. And I think it's something we don't talk about often enough because we know that we're the only ones going through stuff and we think that we're the only ones that can't handle it or handle it differently. But every day there's members in our group that are handed life-changing events in their life, and we see some that push through it and keep their business because sometimes it's the only thing that they can think about. That is not the life-altering event. Like, it keeps your mind off that. And sometimes we see them completely shut down. And so I don't want you to shut down. And I want you to be inspired by Tracy's story of just keep going, keep learning, and really surround yourself with people that are like you. Tracy said she connected with me. Tracy, you wouldn't have connected with me had you not seen my face, my voice, and my mannerisms on video.
Yep.
And that's what I'm trying to tell everyone that's scared of going live. It doesn't matter what you look like. We are not perfect. None of us in this world are perfect. There is something that I don't like about myself right now, and I'm sure there's something Tracy doesn't like about herself right now.
Exactly.
But you know what? There are people all over this world that feel that way, and they're going to connect with you in some way, same way that Tracy connected with me and the same way that Tracy's audience connects with her every single day. And that's That's the why. That's the reason I want you to show up on live video, not to make you uncomfortable, not to make you squirm, but to really help you connect with an audience. Because if you do, you're going to have Tracy's story.
That's your win right there.
Yeah.
Show up as you are. Don't try to be perfect and be your authentic self and do what Sarah says to do.
Yes.
Yes. Wait, and so why? Okay.
It's because I've made the mistakes, right? Like I've gone through this journey for years now. I know what works, I know what doesn't work, and I also work with thousands of subscription box owners every week. So I can see, I have a backstage pass to all these businesses between Launch Your Box, Scale Your Box, and my mastermind of what people are doing, what is working, and what we should be doing. And a lot of people want you to jump through hoops all the time. And I just want us to be consistent. And you've proven that over and over again. You are consistent with audience building when you built your YouTube channel with no other reason than just to show up and serve. You got consistent with sales when you started manufacturing your kits. And now we're going to have consistent recurring revenue in your business.
Yes. Yeah. Whoo.
Yes.
And look, I saw Sarah, this is the thing. You're an open book, and I like that about you because so am I. I like to share my story, and that's— I like to hear people's comeback stories. You said something about your basement being flooded. Yes, something flooded.
My house flooded 8 times in 4 years.
And I said, she's been through stuff.
I've been through some stuff, girl.
I need to be with— I need to— I want to— I don't want the everything is okay and fine. I need to hear the comeback stories, because it motivates me.
Yeah.
Because I consider myself to be someone that even though you're walking through life, you're going to be hit with life events and not all of them are going to be good.
Yeah.
And so you have to keep motivating yourself. And not only that, you're going to be motivating other people at the same time. Sarah, you motivated me by sharing your story. You motivated me because I was like, I've been there too.
Yeah.
And if Sarah could push through and now she's sitting on the beach, I said, save a seat for me, Sarah.
Yes. Yes.
Because I was like, Sarah's on the beach. I said, I need to be on the beach with Sarah.
I love the beach, Tracy.
It's me too.
I didn't get—
I love to hear the waves.
Yeah, I didn't get a lot of that.
And I love to hear the sound of the waves. Okay.
Yes.
That's my— I just— there's something about it that's calming.
It's peaceful. Like, I didn't get a lot of beach time when I was growing up. I have my parents, middle-class family. My dad worked in the oil field. My mom was a nurse. And so we would load up the van and drive to wherever we went on vacation all the time. I didn't get to fly to the beach all the time. So when I became an adult, I knew that was important to me. I wanted to be on the beach because when I look at the water, water, it's never ending, right? When you look out at the ocean, it doesn't end. And you think about all of the world— that makes me think such higher level, and it makes me feel like my problems, my concerns, my issues are so small compared to that vast ocean. And so it's always a place that centered me. It's always a place that I just feel calm and relaxed and peaceful. So I try to go as much as I can. And you know what? That's what this life that I've built has brought me. I can work from the beach. I can work from any place in this world because I've built this online business that's given me not only time freedom, financial freedom, but location freedom as well. And so those are the things that are important to me. And so whatever is important to you, that's why we're building a business.
Yeah. That's it in a nutshell.
Yeah. Tracy, this has been awesome. If I have listeners out there that are thinking, okay, I'm inspired by Tracy, I'm ready to go, what piece of advice would you give to them?
Go ahead and get started. And as simple as that sounds, even do it afraid. You're going to have the butterflies. Okay. I have the— I had the butterflies that first month. They're still there, but I figured out some things to make it go smoothly the next time. Yeah, it's going to go smoothly the next time, but you have to start at some point. You don't have to have— know the entire picture. And guess what? The most powerful thing is Sarah and her team. Go back and watch the modules more than once. Okay, it's launch week. Let me watch the launch week module.
Yeah, let me refresh myself.
Let me refresh. Let me go in a group. Oh, I got some questions. Let me go in a group and ask the question. Let me see what other people are saying in the group. Yeah, let me go ahead and search the group and see what they say about anchor dates and paywall. You have the information at your fingertips. Sarah has done the work. She's already been through it all. There's probably nothing that Sarah has not seen in this whole journey of launching your box and subscriptions, they will have the answer for you. And not only that, Sarah is going to motivate you to go to whatever that next level is in your business. And that's what I like about you, is that you're a motivator. I'm a motivator. I like to see people.
I'm motivated. Let's go, Tracy. We got to get all these other people listening to go with us.
Tracy, I like to see people win.
I like to see people win too. It makes me proud. It makes me— I live in a life of abundance. And so I— that's why I share openly, because I want everyone to feel that. Tracey, where can the listeners catch your YouTube show or your website? Give us all the deets so they can come follow you.
