Good morning, happy Monday. Let me move the microphone closer just, just so I can yell at you today. I'm not yelling at anyone today. Oh, good morning everybody. Um, today we're— today we're going to talk about something that, um, super important. It's officially November 3rd and it means we need to shift our mindset a little bit this morning. So We're going to talk about what that mindset shift is, is, and then about it. I'm gonna give you some action, action steps that are going to carry you through probably the next, next 45 days. So if you're watching, let me know that you're here. I would love to say hi to you. We're streaming, streaming on our Facebook page and our YouTube channel right now. So just let me know that you're here. Listen, it's November 3rd and I am like, Where did this year go? Like, literally, it was just the summer. I don't know what's happened this fall. I don't know what's going on. I'm getting married in 11 days, and it suddenly hit me, and I'm not like panicked, but what's the word? Like anxiousness or excitement and anxiousness or all of the above. Like, I'm like, holy crap, I'm getting married in 11 days. And so it's November 3rd, y'all. It's November 3rd. And so while I'm excited, while I'm excited about that, we've got some stuff we've got to do, to do for this. And so, um, um, I want to get focused on that with you today. And so we're gonna talk about that. Let me come into the chat and say hi real quick. I can see Rebecca's here. Good here. Good morning. Hey, Danny. Good morning, Christina. Wendy's here. Stephanie's here. Here. Fabiola, good morning. Hey, Missy. Good morning, everybody. Kelly's here. Good morning, Kelly. Um, man, I am giddy. We were talking about my fiancé about this over the weekend. Like, like, there are— like, everything had to have aligned so perfectly for us to actually, like, meet, you know what I mean? For, for us to be, to be— we were at the time that we met, um, we were from completely different worlds, we're in different towns, um, we don't have the same circle of friends or business or interests. Um, and so we were just kind of talking about that last night, last night, about everything just had to, to align at the right time for him and I to meet. And so, um, I'm just grateful. I'm grateful that he was open to a new relationship, grateful that I was ready and open for a new relationship. And I'm, I'm just, um, Yeah, I'm happy and I'm ready to go marry my boo. That's what I'm ready to do. Okay, focus. We're not talking about wedding today. Y'all could get me started on talking about wedding things, wedding things all day long. It's not productive. This is the end of our talk today. We've got to focus on revenue generating activities. Okay. There's a big difference, difference being busy and being productive. And what I don't want you is I don't want you to feel like you have to be doing all the things in this moment right now. I want to help you breathe. I want to help you reset. I want to help you shift from doing, doing things to doing the right, right things. And this time of year can just be so overwhelming. Like you feel like you should be doing 970 things right now, um, um, or to catch up and you really don't have to. I don't want, want you to be busy. I want you to be productive. I want you to be intentional because we really have these 45 days. We have 45 days. And I say 45 days, 5 days, because of cutoffs and things like that. We really have 45 days. I want you to look back after these 45 days and I just want you to leave it, to leave it all. I want you to leave it there. I want you to— are we having issues? What's going on, team? Are we having sound issues? Let me know what I can fix. I'm only on one screen here. No, no. Okay, you're good. Okay, hang on. Hold, please. Let me switch my phones. Yes, yes, it's good. Let me turn this microphone off and we'll just use the Okay, tell me if this is any better. I switched microphones. I want y'all to hear me. I need you to hear me today. Um, so hopefully that is what we needed to do. Give me a, um, yes. Okay, Danny says yes. Uh, is there still an echo? Yes, better. Okay, thank you. Now let's carry on. So what I want— where was I? Where was I at? I'm totally We got to focus on the right things. That's where— that's what I was talking about. So what I don't want you to feel is the pressure that you have to be tweaking your website right now, rebranding right now, uh, making new graphics right now. I don't want you spending your time scrolling doom scrolling Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, looking for ideas. Like, those are very unproductive use of our time. We have these 45 days. This is what I was saying, sorry, that when we need to lay it all on the table here, and I want you to look back after these 45 days are over, and I want you to be proud. I want you to be focused. I want you to be like, I gave it everything that I had. This holiday season. I didn't stop when I was tired. I didn't give up when things got hard. I didn't, I didn't let myself down. I think that's the word I'm looking for. And so I want you to know that we don't have to do all the things, okay? There are tasks that are directly tied to sales that we're going to focus on. And if it is not something that is directly tied to sales, I want you to let it go for the next 45 days. We can fix a website in January. We can fix new graphics, new logo, new branding in January. Right now, I want you to flip that switch. And instead of saying, what do I need to finish? Maybe it's a blog, maybe it's a whatever. I need you to say, what will make me money this week? Write it on a Post-it note. What will make me money this week? And I want you to put it somewhere. Maybe it's on your computer that you look at every day. What will make me money this week? And you know, I hosted a Q4 workshop back in September, and I told them over and over again on that workshop, I want you to sell your face off, okay? This is the time to sell your face off. And I want you showing up every day asking yourself, what will actually make me money this week? You don't need to do it all. You just need to do some things really well. So let's talk about it. Get— start the chat for me. When you think revenue generating activities that you can do in your business, pop them in the chat. Tell me what those are for you. I'm going to give you some examples, but I want to hear from you first. What revenue generating activities can you be doing for the next 45 days that is actually going to move the needle for revenue for you? Great. Danny says email and ads. Perfect. We're going to talk about those consistent posting. We're going to talk about that too. Simone says, I love this question. What will make me money this week? This is our money-making time. We need to do that effectively. Wendy says list products, small gift boxes. Okay. Live interviews. Maybe. I think maybe you need to think about this, Simone. Will an interview— are you selling something in that interview? Because if you're not, it may not move the needle. Okay, so let's talk about it. Email was, email was listed. But the biggest reason why entrepreneurs do not email is because they don't know what to talk about. Yeah, just say that's me in the chat. I don't know what to talk about. In my emails. And so what I want you to do is get very intentional and very specific with your emails. What am I selling in this email? What do I want to sell this week? How can I send an email today to generate sales? Don't wait for Black Friday. Don't wait for that promotion. You don't have to be promoting something to send an email to sell something. Okay. One product. One product. You could— like, today I could go out to my warehouse and pick one product and write an email about it. Here's my product. Here's why I love it. Here's how it benefits you. Here's how you can buy it. One product. We overthink everything. Everything. We just do. That's just— I feel like that's not just a woman thing. Like, we just— everyone overthinks everything. It can be that simple. Pick a product, pick a bestseller, pick a seasonal item, pick something you have a ton of on your shelf, pick something new. Like, we could literally send an email every single day this month with one product in it. Don't wait for your promotions. What are you going to send an email about today? Listen, I try to stay in my house as much as possible. I'm like a homebody. Um, I have, I have like these two extremes to me. I'm either going to be at home or I'm going to be on a trip, and there's just no in-between. Like, I'm, I'm gonna be home or I'm gonna be on a trip. That, that's just how I live. Um, but Saturday I had to work the front door at the basketball tournament at at the high school. And so I was up and out of the house. Normally I just wouldn't leave the house on a weekend unless I was on a trip. And so I said, let's run over to TJ Maxx. I wanted to get some— I wanted to look at all the girly things, the lotions and the, and the beauty products. That's what I love to do at TJ Maxx. I said, let's go over to TJ Maxx, my fiancé and I. And we got some stuff and it was crazy. Traffic's crazy. TJ Maxx was crazy. The whole shopping center was crazy. And I'm like, is this what it's like? On Saturdays, or is this because it's November? I got my little buggy and I'm filling it up with lotions and stuff, and I hear these two ladies talking. She's like, hey girl, what are you doing? She's like, oh, I'm starting Christmas shopping. And that— my head turned and I'm like, Christmas shopping already? Yes, people are starting to shop for Christmas. So yes, Fabiola, she says, like a product of the day. Yes, we could pick this red and white striped sweater. This could be my product of the day. I could send an email about it. I could tell you that you could wear it with just a plain shirt, everyday shirt. You could throw it on with a Christmas shirt. It looks like a candy cane. I can talk about the length of it, how I like the sleeves that you can fold them. They're long and short. I could talk about all the benefits of this red and white cardigan, and then I could put like what would match it, like what graphic tees in my shop would match it. That would be a perfect email today. And then you know what? Tomorrow I can talk about something else. So I want you to think about that. People are shopping. The way I saw traffic in our— and maybe it's because I don't leave my house. That's what I was trying to tell you. I don't leave my house. But people are out, people are shopping, people are getting ahead of things. And this month is going to go by so fast. We need to start getting in their inbox today. So go ahead and brainstorm. What can I email my list for this week? I don't care if you have a promotion going on or not. All right. Now, here's the other thing. This is something that I love to do inside Klaviyo. And that is I like to— like my hottest leads, like who's purchased from me in the last 90 days. I'll run a segment in Klaviyo and I'll send them a coupon. Hey, come back and shop with me. Here's some of my bestsellers. Great email that you can do. You can promote a bundle of products that you have laying around, put them in a gift bundle. Um, I want you to— here's another revenue-generating activity— update some of your listings in your shop with holiday SEO, right? So the word gift, um, the words like who it would be for, like perfect for a teenage girl gift, perfect for women. Um, I want you to update your listings for kind of those holiday search. So like some of that would be like shipped fast or great for moms, great for teachers, great for teens. Um, I want you to update some of your listings so that when people are searching for gifts, they're, you're gonna pop up in their feed. So that is a revenue-generating activity. And then we talked about, you know, we talk about a lot going live. If you haven't done it, it's time. If you've done it a few times, let's do it some more. If you're great at it, keep going, do it, do it more. So this is the time of year that I'm going to go live more, um, so that I can reach as many people as possible on social media. And I'm selling every live, I'm selling. I can pick 5 products that I'm featuring today, I can drop a new t-shirt and then show you things to go with it, earrings earrings, handbags, cardigans. I'm going live more, so I want you to think about going live and then also posting to your stories. Stories are getting a lot of traction right now. So if I'm selling this cardigan today— by the way, I don't sell this cardigan, so don't go in my shop looking for it, okay? I'm just using it as an example. Um, if I'm selling this cardigan, it's just a quick story about the cardigan. I can show how it fits, I can show how it feels, I can show what I can pair it with. Those are all like quick little stories that can also be a reel. Okay, so think about that. And then the other thing that I want you to think about is running some meta ads to increase your visibility. Posting every day is great. But when you're not getting engagement and you're not getting visible, it's hard to be seen sometimes. That's why going live is great, because I could— you guys know this, I've shown you my social media. I got 40-some thousand followers. I may get 3 to 5 likes, a couple comments on posts. There are a lot of days that I get nothing on some posts. It's not you, it's us. It's— we're in this together. But when I go live, I have 50, 100 comments. I have thousands of views. I have sales like this all day long from that live. And I could have spent all day yesterday posting the exact same products in posts and maybe sell one or two, but if I go live, I'm selling thousands of dollars. Does this make sense? Like, I could post— like, I'm gonna go live, say, tomorrow. Today I could post all the things I'm going to go live about, maybe make a sale or two. Tomorrow when I go live with those same products, I'm going to sell thousands of dollars of them tomorrow just from that one live. Okay, so I want you to get over yourself. This is not the season to worry about yourself, how you look, how you feel, nervousness. Like, we've got to do it. We have 45 days, and I want you to look back at end of those 45 days and said, I did everything that I could to generate revenue these last 45 days, and I'm proud of myself. Okay, and then pushing ads out is going to help you. They're not magic, but it gives you visibility you don't get by just posting to your feed. Right now I've got a couple ad campaigns going. I've got one for my subscription box to join. I've got one for some holiday bundles. Okay, so it doesn't— and they're like, my holiday bundles are like $10 a day, my subscription box like $100 a day. Okay, so you just have to invest. You have to get visible. Now listen, not everything needs to be done right now. Because a lot of things in our business are distractions. These are our prime 45 days of the year. Don't get stuck spending all your time in Canva. Go out and take some pictures. It's like so fast. Okay, done is better than perfect. Done is better than perfect right now. Posted is better than polished, right? I want you to think that. I want you to have that mindset. We've got to get it out there. So revenue-generating activities: send some emails, post stories and reels, go live if you can, follow up with past purchasers. Run an ad. Like, let's go, let's start generating sales from the products we have in our shop. It's okay to not do all the things right now. We need to be doing the right things. It's not about perfection, it's about connection, consistency, and most of all, conversion. All right, let's go make things happen. 45 days. I want you to write that. 40— I've got 45 days to leave it all on the line. Let's go make some sales. Let's go make some money. Let's go put some cash in our bank accounts. All right, all right, y'all have a great Monday. I'll see you soon.
