Stop Waiting to Feel Ready: Take Action in Your Subscription Box Business 📱

In this Monday Momentum solo video, Sarah Williams addresses makers and entrepreneurs who run subscription‑box businesses and are plagued by self‑doubt, perfectionism, and the feeling that they’re “not ready.” She begins by inviting viewers to identify with the struggle, then flips the narrative by showcasing four community members—Joanne, Courtney, Claudia, and Sierra—who have recently hit notable subscriber milestones (e.g., Joanne doubled from 500 to 1,000, Sierra reached 100). Sarah uses these concrete wins as proof that sales are happening and that success is attainable, urging viewers to view others’ achievements as inspiration rather than a source of discouragement. She then articulates her core mindset framework: momentum outweighs perfection, decisions generate results, and consistent small actions beat talent. Personal anecdotes (insomnia, a senior‑athlete child, a move to a fulfillment center, a manager on maternity leave) illustrate how she makes decisions even when exhausted, reinforcing that over‑thinking stalls progress. Sarah normalizes the difficulty of entrepreneurship, recounts her 13‑year journey cleaning out a warehouse, and shares a quote about surrounding yourself with people who believe in you more than you believe in yourself. She asks the audience to “borrow” that belief, commit to daily small actions, and publicly declare their commitment. The video closes with a call to action: get up early, make decisions, and move forward, reinforcing that ordinary, consistent effort creates extraordinary results for subscription‑box owners.

Good morning, good morning, happy Monday! We're back for Monday Momentum, and listen, if you've been questioning yourself, if you've had a lot of self-doubt or wondering if you can really do this, this video is for you. This message today is for you. So if you feel like that's you, I want you to put in the chat, "That's me." because we're going to talk about it today and I want to share some wins with you. And I also want to share some perspective with you on where you're at and where you need to be. So welcome everyone to Monday Momentum. Let me know that you're here. And if that feels like you, I want you just to let me know. That's me. I'm going to start with some wins this morning. Because, listen, I have seen— I have seen comments. Let's just talk about this for a minute before we jump right in. I have seen some comments inside our Community about how people feel down when they see other people winning, like, oh my gosh, it feels like everyone's ahead of me. It feels like everyone's winning and I'm over here spinning my wheels. And, and, and I want to flip your mindset today on that because I'm going to share some wins this morning, but I want you to look at it as inspiration. You know, I've got some things going on with Launch Your Box. I've been testing some new ads. You've probably been seeing them. And I'm not having the luck that I thought I wanted, that I, that I thought I was going to have with them. And then I go into my mastermind with my peers. These are a mastermind that I'm part of, not my mastermind that I host. And I'm seeing just like win after win after win from the people in my mastermind group. I'm not having the same win right now, and that's okay. It doesn't get me down. What that tells me is I need to tweak something because people are winning right now. Because we can tell ourselves a lot of things. We lie to ourselves a lot of times and we tell ourselves, it's the time of the year, I shouldn't launch in February. Now's not the right time. Like I shouldn't compete with Valentine's Day. Like I could give myself all the excuses I want of why my ads aren't winning right now. But then I see, I see, I was almost going to say their name, but that's, that's personal. I can see these 3 specific people that I can think of right on the top of my head winning right now. And, and it just inspires me to keep going. So when you see people winning, I don't want you to feel like you're behind. I want you to feel like it's possible. Okay? Like other people are doing this. I can too. I want you to take some of their courage, take some of their energy, and say, if that person is doing it, I can do it too. I'm no different. And so when we talk about this today, I want you to reframe your mindset because it's easy to get down when you're seeing everyone around you winning and you are not. But I want you to view it as this is what's possible. I can do this too. Okay, are you with me on this? Okay, let me show you this little, um, oh goodness, I am in the wrong— hold please, I'm in the wrong, um, asset group here. What happened? Framed LauncherBox? I don't know. Let me upload this. Hold please. Um, I had all this figured out this morning and then I got— I somehow got into the wrong StreamYard account. I had uploaded this into my LauncherBox StreamYard account Well, now I'm in the Frame StreamYard account and all I can see is Frame stuff that I have, but I've got it now. So here's what I want to show. I want to share with you right now. Okay. I want to share some wins with you and we have so many wins, but I want to highlight these 4 ladies really quickly because I want you to take their inspiration. Okay. So top left, we have Joanne. Joanne's in Scale Your Box, and she just shows up casually on one of our Zoom calls a couple of weeks ago and says, yeah, I doubled, I doubled my subscription. I'm like, you did what? She moved to a fulfillment center and doubled her subscription. We're talking from 500 to 1,000 subscribers with Joanne right here. And she has a scrapbooking subscription. And so it, it's incredible her growth in the last, I don't even know how long it's been, but it's not been long. So I want you to cheer for Joanne for me in the chat because she, Joanne's been with me for a lot of years inside Launch Your Box and she moved to Scale Your Box and she's killing it right now. And so I want you to see that and what it tells me People are buying. She's killing it right now in this time. You know, 2025 was a big old dumpster fire, but she doubled her subscription. That tells me people are buying, and that should tell you you need to get on it because people are buying, right? Okay, top right, Courtney. I want to introduce you to Courtney because Courtney joined Launch Your Box back in October. She got her stuff together and launched in December, which is not my favorite month to, to launch anything. If y'all know this, y'all know me. I would have not recommended that for her, but she went for it. She already has 51 subscribers. She just launched in December. And I'm so excited for her. I have asked her to be on the podcast with me. I don't know if she's gotten that message yet. We talked about it last week because We just have to take action. And that's exactly what Courtney did. Okay. Bottom left. Give us some love for Courtney in the chat. Bottom left. I want to introduce you to Claudia. Claudia has been in my world since 2020, came in to launch her box. She had a— she launched a one-time box and I can't remember how many boxes she had, but she spent a lot of time and effort start building her audience. Now she just launched her subscription. Remember back in the day, she had a one-time box. And let's, let's be honest, a lot of time has passed. Personal life gets in the way, life gets in the way. We all have stuff we're going through, right? We all have stuff we're going through. And so when that happened, she didn't give up. She just kept building her audience behind the scenes. She just launched and she got over 125 subscribers right now in this time frame. She just launched. People are buying. Have I told you people are buying? People are buying right now. People are buying. Okay, let's talk about Sierra because I love Sierra's bright, colorful box. I opened her box. Was it during coaching week back in September? It might have been, but I love her box. And so Sierra just hit 100 subscribers and And Sierra has been showing up. If you ask me in the community who I see showing up and doing all the things, it's Sierra. Okay, consistent work, consistent growth, consistent audience building, and she just hit 100 subscribers. And so I just want to celebrate these women, and I want to celebrate them because this didn't happen overnight for them. Joanne's been a member for a long time. Claudia has been a member for a long time. Courtney's been building her audience for a while and just decided to get her subscription box going. You know, Sierra has been doing all the things. We've been watching her build her audience one brick at a time. And so what I want to do to— what I want you to see is that these are normal women. They're building their businesses. They're not quitting. They're not getting stuck and they keep moving forward no matter what life throws at them, no matter what's happening. And I want that for you too, because we tend to, we tend to give up when things get hard, right? We tend to, we tend to say, I can't do this. I'm not smart enough. I'm not good enough. I'm not qualified enough. Um, how many of you have felt that way? How many of you felt that way? I want you to zoom out from those wins and I want you to shift from their wins to what this means for you. And I want you to reframe it, okay? Momentum is greater than perfection. I want you to understand that some of you are sitting on the sideline right now trying to perfect every detail. None of those women waited until they felt ready. Progress came from movement, from momentum, not from mastery. We don't have to be the best at everything. We don't have to be the expert in our field. We have to take action. We have to create momentum. And if you've been sitting on the sidelines trying to perfect everything, you're losing out on momentum. Decisions create results. The moment you decide you're serious and start making decisions, things shift. I was on a call Friday and I've been battling insomnia for the last week. There's just a lot going on. Like, let me just, let me just knock it down for you. Got a senior in high school that plays varsity basketball and soccer, and those seasons are overlapping right now. I am moving to a fulfillment center and everything's changing for my own subscription box right now. Lots of decisions. My blow dry bar, my manager's out on maternity leave and I'm struggling a little bit to keep up with that because it's always just ran by itself and now it needs me and I don't have the time for it to be needed. And so I had insomnia and I show up to our team meeting on Friday exhausted. I'd been up since midnight. It's like 11 o'clock, so I've been up for about 12 hours and I'm just making decisions. And my director of operations says, I like tired Sarah because she just makes decisions. And sometimes we just make decisions out of exhaustion because we don't think, we don't overthink it because we don't have time to overthink it. I didn't want to sit there and overthink everything we were planning. I was just making decisions. Results don't come from overthinking. They come from committing to a decision and moving forward, whether that be right or wrong or indifferent. We have to make decisions. So what decisions are you making? Are you, are you not making? Are you sitting on month after month without making forward progress? Because decisions create results. And the other thing I want you to think about is that you're closer than you think. You're really closer than you think. Most people quit right before momentum builds. What feels slow to you right now is actually foundational. These are the founding blocks of your business. This is the concrete slab being laid for your house that you're about to build. You don't need to know everything. You don't need to have a massive audience. You don't need perfect timing. You need a decision, you need a plan, and you need consistent action. That's all you need to build your business. I pause because I want to normalize that this stuff is hard. It's hard. Motivation without being real about it is just fake, right? I can be up here and rah-rah-rah you all day long, but every single one of these wins had doubts behind the scenes. Every one of those ladies had doubts. Every one of those ladies have had slow months. Every one of them have had launches that didn't quite hit the goal. There were moments for every one of them that they thought, should I just quit? You know how many should I just quit moments I've had in my 13 years? We were up here at the warehouse on Sunday cleaning stuff out. Like, I have to be out of my warehouse by the end of April, and I have 13 years of building my business in this building. And as we're cleaning stuff out and I'm looking at stuff and I'm trying to imagine like where I was 13 years ago, I never thought I would be here. If you're watching this and you're thinking, I want that to be me, I want to have a win, I want to make consistent action, I want you to use this as inspiration, as evidence that these women didn't quit. Borrow their belief. Borrow my belief until you build your own. There's a quote I have hanging in my bedroom, and I'm probably going to butcher it right now because I didn't plan on saying this since I didn't look at it this morning, but it says, um, something about being around people that believe in you more than you believe yourself. I've had to be around people that believe in me more than I've believed in myself for a lot of years, and I borrowed their belief in me to get where I'm going. So borrow this belief that I have in you, that ordinary everyday women can build businesses of your dreams that can provide income for your family, for yourself. You don't have to be tied to a 9-to-5 for the rest of your life. That's what we're— that's what we're borrowing. Ordinary people being incredibly consistent creates extraordinary results. Results don't belong to the most talented, they belong to the most committed. So I want you to make a commitment to me here. I'm committed that my small actions will lead to big results. I'm committed to moving forward. I'm committed to not sitting on the sidelines anymore. Who's committing today? That's what I want you to think about. We all go through things. Every one of us has been through some heavy life things. Some of us right now, without even knowing it, some of us are going through some heavy life things. But we keep going. We commit to showing up. We commit to getting out of bed. We commit to getting up 2 hours early before we go to work, like you heard Julie last week. She got up 2 hours before she went to her 9 to 5 to work on her business every single day. And the result? 1,700 subscribers. So I want to know if you're committed. All right, let's go be great this week. Let's get some things done. Let's take action. Let's make decisions. Let's move forward on whatever has been keeping us stuck. All right, I'll see you guys soon. Happy Monday.
