Want to show up more online? Steal my weekly live & email plan

In this episode of the Launch Your Box podcast, host Sarah Williams walks listeners through a concrete, repeatable weekly marketing system designed for subscription‑box creators and other online creators. She starts by urging listeners to choose a fixed day and time for a live broadcast (her own anchor is Thursday at 9 AM) and treats that slot as a non‑negotiable calendar event. Immediately after the live, she snaps a batch of product photos while the set‑up is still fresh, edits them quickly, and sends them to her team member Amber. Amber drafts and sends a same‑day recap email that includes a link to the live replay and a few of the new photos. The next day a second email spotlights one or two top‑selling or high‑inventory items from the live, using the same photos. Over the following three to four days the live content is repurposed across social platforms – flat‑lays, lifestyle shots, reels, behind‑the‑scenes clips – creating a multi‑day omnichannel presence without generating new material each day. Sarah emphasizes that this rhythm provides consistency, builds audience trust, drives sales, and prevents burnout. She invites listeners to adopt the plan as‑is, tweak it, or design their own, and promotes the Launch Your Box community for further support.
Want to show up more online, but you never know what to post, when to go live, or how to keep up with it all? I'm pulling back the curtain on exactly the weekly system that I use, including when I go live, how to turn that into emails and posts, and how I batch it all without burning out. It's simple, it's repeatable, and yes, you can steal it. Grab a notebook and let's go.
Welcome to the Launch Your Box podcast with weekly tips, tricks, and strategies to start, launch, and grow your subscription box. Now here's your host, Sarah Williams.
If you've ever said to yourself, I know I should show up online more, but then the week flies by and you didn't, you're not alone. But here's the truth: showing up online doesn't have to be complicated, and you don't need to feel inspired every day. You just need a system. As a creative myself, creating systems and repeatable processes have really helped me be consistent in my business. So today I'm walking you through the exact weekly rhythm I use to show up consistently and confidently across live video, social media, and email all in one. You can steal it, you can tweak it, or you can create your own version. So let's go. First things first, I want you to pick a day and a time that works for you, not for your audience, not for anyone else. For me, that's Thursday, 9:00 AM every week. That's my anchor and it never moves. So I want you to have an anchor day and time. This is when I go live. You could go live inside your group. You could go live on your page. I do it on my page and this is when I show up. I'm sharing products, I'm doing unboxings, I'm talking about what's happening with our subscription boxes. I'm answering questions, I'm giving value. And because it's always the same day and always the same time, there's a few really important things that happen. The first one, and this might be the most important for you, I hold myself accountable. It's on the calendar. It's part of my week, period. It's one of those things that's just a non-negotiable in my weekly routine. Number 2, my audience knows when to expect me. No guesswork. They start to plan around seeing me. They know, oh, it's Thursday morning. I bet Sarah's live. Let me go check. So many of you are stuck in the I'll go live sometime this week. But guess what happens? Life, life happens. And that live that you plan to do will never happen because there's always something more pressing. There's always something that takes priority. There's always an excuse that you can give yourself to not do it. So step 1 is pick your day and time and make it a non-negotiable in your business. And even if only 2 people show up, It's about consistency and it's going to grow and grow for you. Now, right after I go live, before anything else, while I still have the products out there, while I still have the ring light set up, I take photos. I snap just a few quick pictures of me holding the items, wearing the items. I style the t-shirts. Sometimes I have mannequins because if I'm showing more than one thing, I'm usually wearing something. Something's on a mannequin. I'm showing the bags. I'm already camera ready at that point. The setup is already there, the products are already laying there, everything's fresh in my mind. So at that moment when the live is done, I knock out pictures. I take as many as I can, different ways, different, you know, different earrings with a shirt, different bag with a top, um, different mannequins with different things on them. And these images are gold because we use them everywhere. They're going to go in our emails, they're going to go on our socials, um, they're going to go like— they're going to be your content for the next 3 or 4 days for everything else that you do. And because I do it immediately after the live, I never have to go back later and recreate that moment. It's done, it's in the bank. Okay, so then once the photos are done, um, I send them over to my team and my team sends that first email like within that hour, that same day. I take the photos, I do a little editing in LightShop, send them over to Amber. Amber gets them, she's already typing up the email, just waiting on a photo or two of the things I'm wearing and boom, she's ready to send email number 1. And it's just a quick recap of what I just talked about. And she's watching it, she's watching it with me, she's in the chat answering questions while I'm live. It's fresh on her mind too. So it includes a direct link to, hey, if you missed us, go watch us live here, a quick recap of the things that I talked about, and one or two of those photos that I just took of the products that I featured in that live. So even if someone missed the live, the email keeps them in the loop and it gives them a chance to still engage with what we're doing, still be in the know with what we're doing, because there's people on your page that will never watch a live. They'll scroll right past it. They don't, they don't want to. They're— those people might be the ones opening an email. Okay. So this is day one. I've done the live. I've snapped the photos. Amber's sending the email. If you don't have an Amber, you can do it yourself. Live, photos, email, boom. Then the next day we send a second email. This time I'm only highlighting one or two of the products featured on the live, and I pick these products because either I have the most of them left after day one, um, or they're the best sellers from day one and I have plenty left to sell. So I highlight one or two items, get it back out there in my email for my email subscribers, and I continue to sell day two. We're linking to the shop. We're showcasing the value and the benefits of those few items more deeply than we did in the first email. And we've already got the images to support it because we took them right after the live. It's a repeatable rhythm. It's efficient and it works. And now let's talk about socials. So after that Thursday live, we spend the next 3 days repurposing all the content from that day. So I have the live that morning, couple posts later that day. All the posts Friday, all the posts Saturday are typically about that live, or a majority of our posts are about the products in that live. So you can do flat lays, you can do lifestyle images, you can do reels, you can do like a behind the scenes of setting up the live. Amber usually does a video while I'm live, and so what you can see me talking and we put music over it. I'm showing the products. Like, there's so many things you can get from that one 20-minute live and just doing photos immediately after. And so everything's saying the same thing, it's just showing it in different ways. And the point is, we don't need new content every day. We don't need new things to talk about. We need repeatable, you know, processes and systems. We're stretching out what I already did on Thursday across multiple platforms in multiple formats on multiple days. And so this rhythm means that you've got about half your week covered in marketing with one live. You plan content for one live and you've got 3 or 4 days worth of omnichannel marketing ready to go because the content already exists. You just need to show it off. So here's your takeaway for today. You don't need to show up everywhere all the time. You just need a repeatable system that fits your life and keeps you visible. One weekly live, set a day and time. It keeps you top of mind for people in your feed. 2 emails are attached to that live automatically. If you're not sending 2 emails a week, boom, you have a system to just send 2 emails a week. You're going to send them the day of your live and the day after. That deepens connection. It drives sales, and it also creates that, you know, that likability factor from you. And then the post Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and sometimes Sunday, we're going to show, we're going to feature the products that I talked about on Thursday in different formats, in different ways, so that people have multiple chances to see, like, comment, engage, buy. But most importantly, This rhythm is going to give you confidence. This repeatable process is going to give you consistency because your audience starts to see you as someone who consistently shows up. They start building a relationship with you, someone who's consistent, someone they can buy from, someone they trust. So whether you're going to copy my plan, Take it, do copy it T for T, go live Thursday at 9:00 and do the things I'm at. I'm telling you to steal it from me. Whether you copy my plan or create your own, I want you to start this week. Pick your day, send your 2 emails, post the content. You're not too late. You're not behind. You just need a system that you'll actually use. And if you want to, if you want help building these kinds of repeatable routines, the ones that grow your business and don't burn you out, come join us in Launch Your Box. This is exactly the kind of stuff we work on together. Let's go build something consistent, clear, and totally aligns with you. I'll see you next time.
