Your energy matters more than your discount code.

In this Monday‑morning live session, Sarah Williams returns from her wedding and honeymoon and addresses small product‑based business owners about protecting their energy during the hectic holiday season. She gauges the audience’s energy levels, shares personal reflections on slowing down after a major life event, and emphasizes that taking intentional self‑care is not a sign of weakness but a business resource. Sarah then pivots to practical, low‑effort marketing actions to keep sales momentum through December, outlining three core tactics: (1) a "one product, one post, one offer" sprint; (2) creating a gift‑guide swipe file (carousel, PDF, email, live demo); and (3) posting connection‑focused content such as behind‑the‑scenes, gratitude, or personal stories. She repeatedly encourages participants to schedule personal downtime (massage, nail appointment, family time) and to set boundaries around holiday gatherings. Throughout, she promotes the upcoming "Launch Your Box" training and the "12 Days of Deals" program, offering templates and swipe files to simplify execution. The session ends with a call‑to‑action for attendees to share their self‑care plans and marketing ideas, reinforcing the message that energy preservation and strategic simplicity are key to ending the year strong.

Good morning, happy Monday! I'm really glad to be back. Well, let me be honest, I'm not— I'm not glad to be back. It goes two ways, right? Like, I— yesterday I kept thinking, gosh, do I have to go to work tomorrow? If you don't know, I just got back from my wedding and honeymoon over the weekend, and I have completely unplugged. Um, and I'm feeling really grateful that I was able to unplug at this time of year. And, um, and so I, I'm back. I feel like the more I work, the more I want to work, and the less I work, the less I want to work. And that's the stage I'm in. I got to get myself back going because it's a big week. It's a big week. We got a lot to do. And I've got to get— I've got to hit the ground running this week. And so what I want to talk about today is just about protecting your energy this week and over the next few weeks. Let me know in the chat. Hey, everybody. Thank you. Let me know in the chat, like, where you're at with your energy level as far as how you're feeling about, like, Are you completely exhausted? You're at a 10. Give me a 10 if you're just completely exhausted. I don't know if I'm coming or going. I feel overwhelmed. Give me a 10. If you're like, I'm cool, I'm about a 5. I've got a lot to do. I know what I need to do. I'm going to keep going. Maybe you're a 7. You feel frazzled, but you feel good because it's just chaos and you know it's chaos. Give me where you're at. It's probably about 5 to 10. And so I just want to kind of take your temperature this morning because there's one thing that I have learned over doing business the last— I want to say probably 13 years— is that this time of year is always a time that will drain your energy. You're going to feel chaotic. You're going to feel behind constantly. You're going to feel overwhelmed with the amount of things that you're doing. If you don't feel these things, already. It might be coming. Um, but I also know that having done, you know, Black Friday holidays for the last 13 years, you have to protect your energy. And, um, and you may not feel like you have the opportunity to do that in this moment, but we're going to talk about that today. Um, we're going to talk about some things that you can do to protect your energy, but also some of these last minute things that can be easy for you to implement. Because let's make no mistake of this, like, this week is super important to all product-based businesses. Last week was super important, um, this week is super important, and then really the first half of December is super important to our businesses. And so I want to make sure that we, we protect ourselves, we protect our energy, but we also don't pull back on the gas enough that we lose all our momentum. Because it's really important. It's really important right now. It's really important to end the year strong. And it's important to build that momentum as we go into 2026. You with me? I like that a lot of you are 5 and 6s. Can I get a shout out for that? I'm so married. I called him my husband yesterday to somebody else, and it felt weird, but it felt awesome. But I've got my wedding bands on now, and the day was beautiful. It was everything I was hope— hoping it would be. Um, our friends and our closest friends and family were there. You know, we had to make some decisions because we really wanted to stay under 100 people, and so we made a rule like if we hadn't talked to you, um, in the last year, like that, that was just like, okay, like we can't invite everyone, and we knew that. So we just really— people that knew our relationship, people that protected our relationship and that we could really share the day with. And it was a beautiful day. And then we left to Antigua right after and we spent 7 days in paradise. I'm feeling— got my little winter tan glow going. I got a lot of relaxation and so I'm ready to come back and kill it. Like I've got a good 3, 4 weeks to just get in here and kill it. I feel a little behind. Because I didn't do much the last 2 weeks. I think my warehouse team feels like, what is going on? Because I didn't plan much because I really wanted to protect the space of my wedding. And so now I've got to put the— I got to put full throttle, like we got to go now. And so I'm back making plans to go, and I should have made these plans earlier, but I was so focused on getting all the things prepared for me to be gone for 2 weeks and for the wedding, that it just wasn't top of mind. And that's okay. I'm allowed to slow down and put my energy on other things and still be successful. Okay, let me repeat that for you. You are allowed to slow down and still be successful. Your energy is a business resource, and it's one that you have to protect, okay? And yes, I slowed down this month. I didn't do the things that I normally do because I was trying to protect my energy for the wedding. And, um, and I'm glad that I did that. I'm proud of me for doing that. Um, and I still had a great month, but not as good as it could have been, right? And so now I'm back, and how do we pick up the, the lag that I've created? And so I want you to really hear me when I say that you're allowed to slow down. So in this moment, if you're tired, it doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong. It means you're doing a lot. And so I want to make sure that you create this intentional action for yourself this week. If you're overwhelmed, if you're exhausted, if you can't think straight, if you haven't washed your hair in 4 or 5 days, if you're— I've been all those things in this moment, in this week. If you're any of those things, I want you to take some time intentionally to slow down for yourself this week. I'm going to give you permission if you can't give yourself permission to pace yourself. Okay, so do I have plans with my family this week? Yes or no? And if it's not family, is it friends? Do I have plans for myself this week? You cannot keep going at the pace that we've been going until the end of the year. So what can I intentionally do for myself this week? Can I take an afternoon and go get a massage? Go get my nails done, get a massage, relax a bit, a few hours. I'm not asking you to give up your Black Friday plans. I'm asking you to take time for yourself. Is there something you wish you would be doing this week, but you don't feel like you don't have time? For me, that was always like cooking. Like, I don't have time to be cooking anything. Like, you know, what can you take out of your schedule so you can bake the pie with your daughter? You can go visit your mom and dad. You can spend time with your loved ones this week where you feel like you don't have the time to do that. I want you to build that into your week intentionally, whether it's for yourself, for your family, whatever that is. Do not work this entire week nonstop and not intentionally take some time for yourself. And let's be honest, we can say, oh yeah, I'm going to my parents, I'm going to my grandparents, I'm going to my cousin's house for Thanksgiving. That can be just as exhausting as working that day. Am I right? Family can be just as exhausting. So what do you need? Do you need to leave that Thanksgiving dinner early so you can take some time for yourself? Do you need to set some boundaries on who you're giving your time to this week? Because as women, we tend to just give every ounce of us to other people. We're giving it to our work, we're giving it to our employees, we're giving it to our family, and we don't ever take intentional time for ourselves. Ourselves. So my first pep talk for you is to intentionally build in something for yourself this week. Downtime with a book, self-care with a massage or a pedicure, um, time with your best friend or the family that you've missed so much, making cookies with the kids, putting up the Christmas tree, whatever that feels like to you. Um, Jay, I'm coming. Like, where are we, where are we meeting? Um, Jay says we're doing Margarita Monday to prep for the weekly sprint. Where? What? Tell me, drop the location, I'm coming. Um, we need to do something for ourselves and not something for everyone else in our lives this week. That's just, that's just Mama Sarah just, just telling it like it is. Um, we've got to do it for ourselves or we won't make it. Through the next 3 weeks, 3 to 4 weeks. Okay, now let's talk about I'm scattered, I'm overwhelmed, I still need sales. I don't know what to do at this point because I'm trying to get orders out. I'm trying to prep. Let's do some last-minute sales strategies. Okay? Something that feels simple, something that feels easy, something that feels doable that will also help generate some sales. So we want to bring in those sales, but we feel behind that we're not ready to do that. So here's some things. Idea number 1. Okay. One post, one, one product, one post, one offer. It's all the same thing. One. Choose one item to spotlight. One item. Make a personal post about it. Like how to use it, what are the benefits, why do you love it. Add a limited time offer to it, like free shipping, free monogramming, a bonus, like something to it. Okay. And then we're going to send an email, we're going to go live for 5 minutes, we're going to repost that in different ways for the next 3 days. Easy enough. I bet everybody right now can think of that one item. Post it on your business page, share it on your personal page, put it in your stories. One item, one post, one offer. It's really more than one post, but we're just going to say that for, for, you know, the well-roundedness of it. One offer. If you're feeling behind, stop trying to jump through hoops with all your offers. Make it simple, pare it down, make it easier for you, make it consumable for your customer, and let's make some sales. I'm doing a training tomorrow inside LauncherBox, and I think this is going to be great for everyone that maybe feels behind, but we're going to do 12 Days of Deals and I've got some templates for you. I'm going to make it super easy, but what if you spent 12 days doing one thing each day. It makes it simple. It's going to get you through December. We're going to do that in Launch Your Box tomorrow. Okay. So let's talk about idea number 2. Damon, how's that? That new wife life is awesome. I love it. It almost feels— I told him last night, we were sitting on the couch watching football with the kids and the dog. We have both kids are home this week. 3 dogs. My son I officially have a grand dog, I guess. And it's just chaos in my house this week because normally it's very quiet. And I just looked down and said, we're married. It just feels surreal. I love it. Thank you. Thank you for all the, all the kind words. Um, good things can happen and you never know when they're going to happen. They can happen at 47 years old. Okay. Okay. Back to focus. Y'all are tired of listening to my love life. It's been a journey. Idea number 2, let's do a gift guide swipe file. Create a graphic or carousel. Gifts for teachers, stocking stuffers, gifts for guys, gifts for moms, gifts for the woman in your life that has everything. What gift guide could you create? Throw it in a carousel, put it in a PDF. Like, let's, let's do a gift guide with stuff that we have. I could very easily go out here in my warehouse and throw together 5 to 10 items, gifts for teens. And I can mark that and I could talk about that 'cause in the email about that, I could do a live like that. Like we could do a gift guide, share it on Facebook, share it on Instagram, throw it in an email, remind people that they can order now and still get their items, help them with those hard to buy for. So as women, we buy for everybody in our household, right? Teens are the hardest. They want the most expensive things. This could be gifts for teens that won't break, break the bank. Gift for teens under $50. Gift for women under $40. Stocking stuffers for $5. Whatever it is you have, let's do it. Let's do it. Let's get some stuff out of there. Let's help them understand that we're here to help them with their gift giving. That's what we're here for. Do a gift guide. Number 3, let's just do a connection post. Okay, you're feeling overwhelmed. If you're like, Sarah, I can't sell one more dang thing because that means I have to prep it and ship it, right? Not every post has to sell this week. Not every post has to sell. I still want you to show up in some way. And so sometimes that might be behind the scenes. Behind the scenes of what you're working on, like small business life Thanksgiving week, small business owner life at Thanksgiving week, or the chaos behind, you know, before the turkey, whatever. Share that. It automatically makes people go buy from you. It automatically connects people to you. Don't want to sell anything else because you're so far behind? Connect with people. What about a gratitude post? I'm grateful to be back at work today. Even though I really didn't want to come back to work today, I still wanted to be on my patio, having somebody bring me an omelet every morning. And, and, like, you know, just trying to figure out which swimsuit I was going to wear for the day. Put on real clothes and do my hair and make my own coffee and all the things. I didn't want to, but I'm so grateful that this is the life I get to come back to. I'm grateful for all of you here on Monday morning, the week of Thanksgiving, interacting with me. I'm grateful for my team who is out here working on December subscription boxes. I'm grateful. Share gratitude of what you're grateful for Monday, what you're grateful for later this week. Ask your, ask your audience what they're grateful for. Those things bring back people to buy. So don't think you have to have a sales post to sell something, okay? Now those are just 3 ideas, okay? 3 ideas for you this week if you feel overwhelmed but still want to do something. So let me know in the chat, just tell me what you're planning for this week. How are you going to show up this week? And also, I want you to think about— and you may not know this right now, but, you know, every— I kind of give you homework every Monday. I want you to figure out how you're going to intentionally take time for yourself this week. What does that look like for you? What does that look like for you to intentionally take time? Because I don't need you to burn out before December 20th. I need you to keep going. So let me know what marketing ideas you have for this week and how you're going to intentionally take time for yourself. And I'm going to Shreveport, it looks like, to have margaritas with Jay. Um, it's like 3 hours away, 3 and a half hours away. Um, so make some time, call up your best friend that you've been too busy to see because you've been working your face off and say, hey, can we have lunch tomorrow? I really miss you and I just need some girl time. You know, make that nail appointment, go get your hair done, go get a massage, do something for yourself. I want to make sure that you're taking time for yourself intentionally. So let's get going. If you're stuck on an idea for this week or next week, this week, do something simple. One offer, one product, one post, okay? Go behind the scenes and share. That automatically drums up business. And then join me tomorrow inside Launch Your Box because we're going to be talking about the 12 Days of Deals. I have some swipe files for you. I'm gonna make it as easy as possible. And I'm also going to share with you what I'm doing so that if you need to mirror that, you can. All right. So I'll see you inside the group tomorrow. If you're not a member of Launch Your Box, it's never too late to join us. So come join us, grab some ideas, and let's make the most of the rest of this year. All right. I'll see you guys later. Have a great week. I'm so glad to be back. And I'm, I'm honestly very, very grateful for all of you that show up with me every Monday morning. I'll talk to you soon.
