In this solo workshop‑style YouTube video, Scott Empringham argues that most marketers misuse ChatGPT as a simple search tool, producing generic, robotic content. He reframes the AI as a strategic marketing system and walks viewers through ten concrete "hacks" that turn ChatGPT into a high‑impact, low‑cost engine for customer insight, messaging, content creation, and distribution. 1. Deep Customer Personas – Feed ChatGPT five key business facts to generate an Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) that captures hopes, dreams, limiting beliefs, and purchase objections, enabling marketers to know their audience better than the audience knows themselves. 2. Multi‑Stage Messaging – Build distinct cold (problem‑aware), warm (solution‑aware), and hot (product‑aware) messaging frameworks; a case study with Ford’s F‑150 campaign shows how tailored messages capture the 97 % of prospects not actively searching. 3. Objection Mining – Prompt ChatGPT to surface hundreds of objections, limiting beliefs, and motivations, then weave them into emails, ads, videos, and offers. 4. Infinite Content Ideas – Create a master list of content topics tied directly to the objection list, keeping a printable cheat‑sheet for on‑the‑fly creation. 5. AI‑Generated Commercial Scripts – Use structured prompts to produce shot‑by‑shot commercial storyboards that rival agency work without the cost. 6. Custom Lead Magnets – Generate 15+ lead‑magnet concepts (PDFs, checklists, mini‑apps) that solve specific customer problems and capture leads. 7. Voice‑First Prompting – Leverage Whisperflow or similar talk‑to‑text tools to converse with ChatGPT, eliminating typing. 8. Instant Elevator Pitch – Apply a proven AI‑filled framework that starts with the prospect’s problem, credibility, and a clear CTA, producing multiple pitch variations in seconds. 9. Persistent Custom GPT – Build a custom GPT that retains all ICP, messaging, and content context, turning the AI into a reusable marketing strategist for the whole team. 10. Content Pyramid Distribution – Upload a single piece of long‑form content (podcast, webinar, keynote) and have ChatGPT extract ten micro‑content moments with platform‑specific hooks, enabling massive repurposing without new creation. Scott emphasizes that the hacks are not about the technology itself but about applying timeless marketing fundamentals—deep audience understanding, targeted messaging, objection‑driven content, and omnichannel distribution—now accelerated by AI. He ends with a call to action to start with Hack 1 or to engage his agency for a full AI‑implementation plan.

Most people use ChatGPT like a search engine. They type in, write me a blog post, and they get back something that sounds like a robot having a bad day. And they go, see, AI doesn't work. Here's a problem. It's like walking into a Michelin restaurant and trying to cook a steak with a lighter. The tool isn't the problem. How you're using it is. Today I'm going to give you 10 ChatGPT hacks that are going to change how you market your business. And I'm not going to teach you how to change your theme to dark mode. This is for business owners that want to make money with this thing. Let's go. Before you create a single piece of content, you need to know exactly who you're talking to and what to say to them. This is where 90% of businesses fail, and it's where ChatGPT becomes a weapon. Not because of the tool, but because of the thinking behind it. Hack number 1: Knowing your customer better than they know themselves. I'll be in a workshop and I'll ask 100 business owners, who here is crystal clear on their ideal customer? And I'm not just talking basic information, I'm talking about their hopes, their dreams, their wants, their limiting beliefs, their objections to purchase. Out of 100 people, Two hands will go up. It's like playing pin the tail on the donkey in the dark. You can't win. Let me give you an example. People in pain buy more quickly than those people not in pain. If my car blows up this weekend, I need a new car. The challenge is, do you know your customers so well that you know those pain points? If you do know those pain points, you can address those pain points. If you address those pain points, you can motivate somebody to buy. With the right framework, you can feed ChatGPT 5 pieces about your business and make everything change. You could get clarity on your ideal customer and you could get that messaging platform that you could use today. I used to charge $5,000 just for the ideal customer persona and another $10,000 for the core messaging platform. But now you could do that in minutes for free. Hack number 2, you could build a messaging platform that actually sells. In your marketing funnel, there's 3 types of prospects. There's cold, warm, and hot. Cold are problem aware. They know there's a problem, but but they haven't yet gone down the funnel to really start to differentiate between the solutions, and they certainly aren't product aware. The warm are figuring out what solutions are right for them, but they haven't yet figured out the product. And the hot is they're looking at the product. What if you had messaging to address all of those customers? I can promise you the game changes when you do, because studies show that less than 3% of all of your prospects are actually searching for that thing you sell. So what about the other 97%? That's where the warm and the cold messages come in. When you craft warm and cold messages, you hit 97% of the audience available to you, and when they are in market, they're ready to buy, they know who you are. Probably the best example I can give you is when we did a campaign for Ford Motor Company. We were doing an F-150 campaign targeting people that were in market, ready to buy right now, and serving them $50 test drive offers. Very quickly, the market started to become saturated. Ford still wanted more leads. We started to wonder what we could do to generate more leads for Ford Motor Company. That's when the idea came to us. What if we created messaging that was ideal for warm audiences And what if we created messaging that was ideal for cold audiences? What do we create? Warm audiences are people looking for trucks but haven't yet decided which truck they're gonna buy. We started creating messaging that said, here's the 7 questions you need to ask before you buy your next truck. That was attractive to Chevy folks, Dodge folks, GMC folks, and everybody in between. When they came to our landing page, we could tell them why F-150 was right for them. Cold messaging was totally different. We said, did you just buy jet skis? Did you just buy a boat? Or did you just have a baby and you're wondering which car, an SUV or truck, is right for you? Now we had messaging for everybody body in the funnel. Cold, product aware. Warm, solution aware. And hot, product aware. If you don't have cold, warm, and hot messaging, you're only messaging to a tiny fraction of your audience. How clear are you on objections to purchase? Most businesses are probably good at coming up with 3 or 4 objections to purchase, but ChatGPT, prompted correctly, can come up with dozens, dozens, dozens, even hundreds of objections, limiting beliefs, questions, concerns, emotional motivations, and financial motivations. If you could surface and address those, you now have a better chance of persuading prospects to become customers. In one workshop, there was one luxury home builder that went through the process of designing a core messaging for his business. At the end of the process, one word changed everything. ChatGPT revealed part of his core message needs to include guaranteed. He hadn't yet thought to actually use that word, but when he used ChatGPT and he fed all the information in, he got a new tagline that added one word guaranteed to change everything. When I asked him, do you guarantee it? He says, yes. I said, have you been advertising the guarantee? He said, no. That prompt changed everything. That one word changed everything. He started generating more business immediately. Hack number 3, you can mine objections like a prospector. A lot of people make the mistake of creating messaging without really thinking about the objections. But what if you had 100 of the top objections, questions, limiting beliefs, financial motivations, and emotional motivations surface that you can address? Could you use those in email campaigns? Could you use them in your content? Could you use them in their videos? Could you use them in your ads? Could you use them to create offers? The answer to all those questions is yes. And when you do, you'll sell more products, you'll sell more services. In my workshop, I go deep on how to turn each one of those objections into specific content pieces. And even just having that list puts you light years ahead of most businesses. Now, here's exactly where most business owners get stuck. What do I actually create? These next 3 hacks solve that. Number 4, never run outta content ideas again. The number 1 reason people don't come up with content is they say they don't have time, but the truth is they just don't know what to create. You know, the business owner's brain is working on HR, sales, legal, finance, all the different stuff. It's really hard to switch that brain to content creation for most business owners. In fact, for all business owners, the answer is a list, not random ones, but ones that tie into each one of the objections they might have, the limiting beliefs, a stack of objections and their answers, handy, ready to go, ready to read, ready to shoot. I tell business owners, keep that printed sheet in your car, in your pocket, in your purse, wherever it is. And when you have a free moment, pick it up, look at it, shoot it, and you're done. Number 5, script a commercial without a production company. A good commercial isn't random pretty footage with music. It's strategic. Every scene and every shot, every word of every voiceover is designed to move the viewer from attention to emotion to action. That's what directors and agencies spend months planning. Here's a dirty secret that a lot of agencies don't wanna talk about. Client comes in and briefs the agency. Agency takes that script and does whatever the hell they want. They ignore the client's directions and figure they know better than the client. So what usually happens is a client gets back something that loosely looks like what the client briefed the agency on. With the right prompts and the right frameworks, you put in what you need and you get back what you need. Simple, clean, on the nose. Because it's built on a framework that's customized by you, you're not just getting a random video, you're getting a shot-by-shot shot list as if Steven Spielberg himself created the commercial just for your business. It's gone from random, time-consuming, expensive to specific, customized, and affordable just like that. Number 6: Create lead magnets that people actually want. Most businesses have one lead magnet. It's a PDF. It's sitting in a downloads folder somewhere and nobody's ever opened it. That's not a lead magnet. That's a dead file. A real lead magnet solves a problem immediately. It gives somebody an answer right now. In exchange, you get their information and the right to follow up. With the right prompt, ChatGPT will design 15 specific lead magnets custom to solve your customers' problems based on their fears, their frustrations, their objections, and their desired outcomes. And you don't have to stick with just PDFs. You could use checklists and other things as well as apps that could be built by Lovable. You could use the ideas generated by ChatGPT in conjunction with other tools to create apps, PDFs, checklists, all kinds of lead magnets custom for your business. Now you got content locked in, you got your messaging. Now the trick is to create content at scale without spending your time in front of the camera all day. Hack number 7, you could talk instead of type. Example, you can use Whisperflow or the talk-to-text and simply talk to ChatGPT just like you would you're having a conversation with another person. With our frameworks and prompts, many of them are interactive and you can just say what you need to say and ChatGPT or Whisperflow will interpret everything for you. No typing, just talking. Hack number 8, fix your elevator pitch in seconds. For example, most business owners start with, hi, my name is, I'm the CEO of, and here's what we do. Nobody cares. Not yet anyways. What they really do care about is their problem. Most people come to social media to be entertained. Entertained, to be educated, or connect, not to be sold. Instead of starting with who you are, what if you were to start with their challenges, their problems? So, are you an ideal customer struggling with problem? I'm name, and I believe core belief for the past number of years. I've been credibility statement, and I'd like to invite you to a clear CTA. And here's how it all looks together. Are you a business owner that's struggling to implement AI in your business? Hi, my name is Scott Empringham, and I believe every business should be adopting AI and never have to struggle with that again. And for the past 20 years, I've helped some of the companies in the world and thousands of businesses worldwide through my workshops and my trainings to solve that exact problem. I'd like to invite you to one of my workshops where in 45 minutes you will get the exact frameworks, the exact tools, the exact system to implement in your business, and you'll walk away with clarity and freedom like you've never had before. Links down in the description. It's just like that. Follow the framework and you can't go wrong. Here's where ChatGPT comes in. Paste this exact framework into the same thread you built everything else in, and ChatGPT will fill everything in—your ICP, your core messaging, and all your proof points. It'll draft 3 or 4 variations. and then you can print it out and then use it everywhere you're going to be. Podcasts, trade shows, every kind of networking event. You'll never be at a loss for words again. I do this in workshops around the world, and it's so cool to watch people go from sort of tongue-tied pitching a business they know and love and started to having completely mastered a framework. In fact, lots of business owners, after they use the framework even for the first time, they'll say, that's the best I've pitched my business ever. You could do the same. Everything so far in this video is building in one ChatGPT thread. Your persona, your messaging, your objections, your scripts. It's all accumulating context. The more you build on that thread, the smarter it gets about your specific business. But threads get buried. You start a new thread and you're back to zero. So the fix is to create a custom GPT that locks in all that information. So now you've got a marketing strategist that knows your business as well as you do. Your team can access it. Your offshore assistant can access it. You don't start from scratch every time you need a new piece of content. So this is the one hack that turns it from a tool to a system you can use anytime. Number 10, distribute one piece of content everywhere. You don't need to create more content all the time. Sometimes it's about distributing the content more effectively at scale that you already have. If you've done a podcast, a keynote, even a Zoom call, you're sitting on hours of footage that's doing absolutely nothing. And I know you know this. Gary Vee built an entire content empire on this very concept. He calls the content pyramid. It starts with one piece of pillar content, chopping it up in a piece of micro content and distributing across all the platforms. You could do the same with one piece of software that does it for you. Here's the hack. Upload the transcript into ChatGPT and ask it to come up with 10 key moments in that transcript that would make great pieces of content with hooks formatted for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, whatever platforms you want. So you're not creating new content, you're just mining the content you already have and creating multiple pieces of content from one. And there's also tools that could do this for you where you could take one video, one link, drop it in, and within minutes you've got dozens and dozens of pieces of content from one Zoom call, one podcast or one keynote. So here's what I want you to take away from all this. These 10 hacks aren't really about ChatGPT. They're about the marketing fundamentals that have always worked. Know your customer deeply, message to their specific pain points, create content that addresses their specific objections, questions, and concerns, and distribute it everywhere. That's exactly what I was doing when I was working with Ford, GM, Chrysler, Home Depot, all the different clients I've worked with. Same process. The big difference is this: what used to take months and cost thousands of dollars now is pennies on the dollar and takes minutes. Now here's the key: random prompts equal random results. The reason this works is the sequence: strategy, messaging, content distribution. It's a combination lock. Right numbers, right combination, lock opens. Skip the strategy, go straight to content, and you'll wonder why nothing's working. If you want to do this yourself, start with hack number 1: build your ICP. If that alone doesn't change how you feel about your marketing, I don't know what to tell you. But if you want help setting up your system inside your business, your core messaging, your ICP, your irresistible offers, your 100-day AI implementation plan, just click the link below and let me get you started. If you got some value from this, share with another business owner that you know needs to hear this. I'll see you on the next one.
