All the changes I was trying to make really were inconsequential, or they were surface. For me, Faith gave me a completely different way to look at my life. My role as a dad, as a husband. Some of it was working one day at a time and sort of line upon line, precept upon precept. But one day I woke up and my heart had just sort of changed in certain areas, my life had changed. Lots of challenges, and certainly not perfect, but my life fundamentally, I view it through a different lens now. And so I just view it very differently. I would say the thing that transformed me the most was not the books, not the conferences, but faith and then friendships. That part was really key as well.
