A short YouTube clip by Scott Empringham advising business owners about a common failure mode in marketing: owners become disengaged, interrupting campaigns early. He argues that poor results often stem from owner behavior (losing interest, pulling the plug) rather than agencies or tactics, and recommends committing to a minimum 100-day program before expecting results.

I like to work with business owners because the number one problem with their marketing oftentimes isn't their marketing, it's not their ad agency, it's not their emails, it's not their ads, it's not their blog, it's them. They get bored, they get sidetracked, they go off and do something else and they don't pay attention to it. So the agency's out on their own, their marketing person's out on their own, 30 days later come back in and say how come the sales aren't this or how come the thing isn't this? Like we literally ads just launched last week. Yeah. They're so unaware of what's happening, they pull the plug on things. It's like, like planting a fruit and you keep pulling up the root before you give it a chance to actually do anything. So now I say it's 100 day program minimum. So if you're on board, sign up for 100 days but don't expect anything before 100 days.
