In this motivational video, Scott Empringham emphasizes that preparation is essential and that without it, even experienced speakers fall behind. He announces upcoming speaking engagements at the EO Miami and EO Fort Lauderdale chapters, describing them as two of the strongest in the country. He recounts his extensive global experience—speaking in Europe, Mexico, Shanghai, and China—and stresses that each workshop requires intensive preparation, refinement, and continuous learning. He shares that he runs weekly live group calls (Monday and Wednesday) with hundreds of students and members worldwide, where they discuss business challenges and explore new AI tools and prompts. Empringham frames preparation, constant study, and community engagement as habits he loves, not obligations, and urges viewers to always do the work, bring their best to presentations, client meetings, or videos, and to join him at the upcoming EO events.

Hey, you ever heard this saying? The moment you stop preparing, you start falling behind. At the end of this month, I'm gonna be speaking at the EO Miami and the EO Fort Lauderdale groups, and they're two of the strongest chapters in the country. And people assume that after doing this the last couple of years in Europe, Mexico, Shanghai, China, that you just show up. But the truth is the exact opposite. I spend days, hours, weeks, months preparing for different workshops. I'm refining, I'm thinking about it, because every room obviously deserves your best. And one of the biggest lessons I've learned doing this around the country and around the world is this: experience doesn't replace preparation at all. I've been in so many workshops where I'm like, wow, they've got great experience, but they just weren't prepared. I really want to raise my standard every single time. So every workshop I do gets a little bit better. You know, every audience I teach teaches me something new. And every founder asks a question that I've never heard before. It never fails. So that's why I prepare. And that's why I study constantly. And that's why I do these live group calls every week on Monday and Wednesday with these hundreds of students members around the world, bringing me their business problems, bringing their business challenges, always exposing myself to new AI tools, prompts, and solutions we got to come up with. Not because I have to, but I just genuinely absolutely love it. I love it. So whether you're giving a presentation or meeting with a client or recording your next video, do the work, bring your best, and I'll see you EO Miami, EO Fort Lauderdale in a few weeks. Let's go.
