Major life transitions like starting a job, getting married, having kids, or retiring require financial planning beforehand. A plan lets you make decisions proactively instead of scrambling after the change happens.
We talk about life transitions. There's many transitions that we go through. There's big transitions that we go through in life, you know, starting our first job, getting married, maybe having children, starting a business, eventually maybe retiring. Those big transitions. But then there's also small transitions that we go through on an annual basis. And this is the essence of why financial planning is so important, because we want to be proactive about those transitions. We want to have a plan, a strategy before we get into those transitions instead of having to react after those transitions are cast upon us, so to speak, right? Because when we have a strategy up front, we're proactive, we're able to really understand what our options are and make sure that we're making the best decisions.
