As the world is transforming, so is the world of mental health, but it doesn't change the work. So if you come to somebody's office, you should know about that therapist. When patients come to see me, I ask them before we get started, before I ask you all these very intrusive questions or really digging deep into someone's life, I want them to ask me whatever questions they want to know about my clinical background, about my personal background that would help them to feel safe so they know what they're getting into in a relationship, just like you would interview a friend and just like you would interview a partner.
