This is a YouTube video titled "Marijuana/Cannabis and the Treatment of Autism, Parkinsons, and MS." It features a monologue by Sheri Caplan Stalino, founder of Connected Wellness, discussing how cannabis may help people with neurological disorders such as Parkinson's, autism, multiple sclerosis, and processing problems. The video explains the role of the endocannabinoid system, sensory processing, and how cannabinoids like CBD and THC might reduce anxiety and support neurological health. The content is educational and anecdotal, aiming to inform viewers about cannabis as a potential therapeutic option.
Can cannabis help people with various neurological disorders like Parkinson's, autism, Ms. and processing problems? I'm Sheri Caplan Stalino, founder of Connected Wellness. You know, research shows that the endocannabinoid system helps to regulate the body. And I know I've shared this with you in other videos, but let's take a look at neurological disorders. You know, I wish we had a neurological spectrum that actually showed us how the body processes, because we take in information through our central nervous system, we take it in through what we see, what we hear, what we sense through our. Through touching and feeling. And so our body has to take this information in. It has to organize and sequence the information and decode it. And then our brain has to say, ah, this is what it is. So let me share with you an example. Let's say, for instance, somebody says, hey, would you like to get some ice cream? Well, first you have to get on my radar. I have to be able to hear you. I have to be able to know that you're talking to me. And then my brain actually has to organize, sequence, and decode that information and give it a meaning. So I know that you just invited me for some ice cream, which, of course, I would say yes. Anyway, then your eyes. My eyes need to see you. And when my eyes see you, it's trying to organize, sequence, and decode that. Your face looks excited and happy. And I have to be able to coordinate that information with the information that my ears are hearing. This is called auditory processing what I'm hearing and visual or ocular motor processing what I'm seeing. And my brain has to put that all together. So you can imagine if you have a deficit from a neurological disorder like Parkinson's, Mississippi, A stroke, autism, attention deficit disorders, or any kind of processing problems, you can see how this probably is very anxiety producing for the person who has the problem or the disorder. And that's because you can't understand necessarily or coordinate the understandings of what you're seeing or hearing or sensing. So how can cannabis help? This is how cannabis can help. Cannabis, we know, helps to regulate your body and helps to reduce anxiety. So we have found with various people with various disorders that high levels of CBD and lower dosages of THC can be very helpful. And in addition to that, there are other cannabinoids like th, hcv, cbda, thca, and CBG that have also proven to be very helpful with people with different types of neurological disorders and attention deficits. So there's also one other way that we have seen and that there are certainly people collecting data on to help us understand what other ways we can use cannabis medicine to help with various disorders. And here is one when you add various plant extracts to cannabis formulations, we are seeing that it actually supports the cannabis in treating various neurological disorders. Now, we don't have the scientific data on it yet, but we do have a lot of anecdotal data and we're eager to collect more information as time goes on and more research is available. And when it is, we will share it with you. So please stay tuned. If you find this information to be helpful, please like our channel and subscribe to it. And remember, cannabis is a life changing medicine, but only you can change your life.
