Hello, I'm Paul Adams of Adams Photography. We're located at 1088 Cole Harbour Road in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. I started off, I was actually a Canada Post worker, a letter carrier at Canada Post, and I was doing photography as a hobby and thought, you know, like most people would just do a little hobby, do some family, friends, and weddings. And then after that, I decided to— I did a few weddings and it grew from there. So then I decided, well, maybe I could take this a little further. It wasn't a challenge because it was something I loved to do. So it was a joy actually to learn more about the technical aspects of photography. I know I've been blessed with the talent, but to learn the technical aspects was amazing. I heard about the CBDC through a gentleman named John Cook and Mark Tilly. I met them at a conference that I was actually working at. I just told them about my business, they told me a bit more about what they do, and we started a relationship. And then I found out about how they could help. And I said, "Okay, this is great." So we just started talking and they told me, like I said, business plan, they told me about monies that they had or finances that they had for small businesses, and it went off, took off from there. They actually feel like an organization that does care about your business. It doesn't feel like you're dealing with somebody that just wants to make money. They care about the welfare of your business. And they'll often call and, "How is your business going?" doing. You know, I'd suggest CBC to anybody, especially a small business that needs help.
