I'm Craig McMaster, and I'm from Media Mechanics here in Dartmouth. We are primarily a web company, but we focus more so on integrated media as opposed to just online media. So we take a look at the web experience, but we're also taking a look at print, video, illustration, and anything that might be considered more so traditional media as well, so that way we can work all the pieces in together. The services that we use from the CVDC was primarily more so around mentorship and guidance. That was the biggest thing. They provided us a loan, which was one thing to help us get started, but more so it was the encouragement that I really found to be the biggest help. There was a lot of paperwork involved, but they eased us through the paperwork, they guided us through, and more so, it felt like we had a board of directors almost. Even though we were just a one-person shop, we felt like we were 5 or 6 people because I could count on individual members within the CBDC to really help us out. The biggest reward is just being able to guide a company for myself. When I was working full-time for other people, I never really knew what was going on in the, in the back office, what decisions were being made. And it's building a team that you have, that's a huge reward. And just working together with the client and as part of a team perspective is a big deal. Winning the business is a big deal, but it's not as important as finally finishing the business and making sure that the client is happy. That's, that's another huge thing as well. And that's again, I think what helps us keep winning business.
