In this brief promotional video, Shaun Whynacht of Blue Cow Creative explains the central message of his blog post “Getting Hi is No Longer Good Enough.” He contrasts two hypothetical coffee shops: Coffee Shop A offers excellent coffee but a cold, impersonal atmosphere, while Coffee Shop B serves average coffee but provides a warm, personalized experience. Shaun argues that businesses should not only sell a product or service but also deliberately craft the overall customer experience—whether they sell insurance, cars, or homes. By focusing on the experience from the customer’s perspective, companies can create a winning formula. The video ends with a call to visit the Blue Cow Creative website and blog.

Hey, it's Shaun from Blue Cow Creative. I want to talk to you about one of the blog articles that I wrote this year. It's called Getting High is No Longer Good Enough. Now when I say hi, I mean H-I like hello. And I talk to you in this blog article about two different coffee shops, and these are what I reference. Coffee shop A being one that has a really great product, a really great coffee, but when you walk in, it's a very cold atmosphere. The service, the conversation is very, very nonexistent. But the product is really good. And then look at Coffee Shop B, where the product is not as good as A, but it's bearable. But when you walk in, they know your name, you have a conversation, they're very personable, and it's really a fun atmosphere to go and visit. So really, which one would you rather go to? Would you go to the cold one that really doesn't really feel like you should be there, or they want you to be there? Or are you gonna go to the one that really is inviting, even though the coffee's not as great? If you're like me, I'd go to Coffee Shop B. So look at that. What you're selling is a product or a service, but what you should be also focusing on is selling an experience. So whether you're selling insurance, whether you're selling cars, whether you're selling new houses, look at the entire experience from the customer's perspective. Focus on that, and you're gonna have a winning formula for your business. Thanks for watching. Check out our website at bluecowcreative.ca and our blog located in the top right-hand corner.
