In this instructional video, Shaun Whynacht demonstrates how to add a podcast to a Facebook Business Page using the platform's new Podcasts tab. He walks through locating the Podcasts section on a client’s page, copying the podcast’s RSS feed (using podcast.co as an example), and pasting it into Facebook. After submitting the feed, Facebook pulls in episode data and, after a brief processing period, prompts for an email authentication code to verify ownership. Once the code is entered, the podcast appears as “unpublished” until the user clicks the Publish Podcast button. Shaun also highlights optional settings, such as enabling 30‑second clip sharing, and notes that multiple podcasts can be added to a single page. He explains that new episodes automatically update on the page via the RSS feed, appearing on the timeline and improving mobile app visibility. The video concludes with a call for comments, subscriptions, and encouragement to reach 1,000 subscribers.

Hey guys, today I'm gonna show you how you can add your podcast to your Facebook page. That's right, podcasts are now available to be added to your Facebook business page. I've been waiting a long time. We've got our podcast, the Content Amplification Podcast, and now we've been able to expand that audience and have direct playing right within our Facebook page. But more importantly, it shows up a lot better on the mobile app. So here I'm gonna show you, I've already added it to our account, and in this video I'm gonna walk through how to add it to yours. By doing it for a client of ours. So when you have your page, when you go on a desktop, you're gonna notice on the left-hand side you're gonna see Podcasts. So let's go ahead and hop over to our client's page here, and we're gonna click on their link for Podcasts, and it's gonna show up like this, says Your Podcast, Add a Podcast. Now here is what you need. You need the RSS feed from your podcast. Now we use podcast.co for our podcasts and our clients, and it's really a service that allows us to upload it and then it distributes all the networks. So it does that through this RSS feed. So we're going to go ahead and we're going to copy the code here from their podcast and we're going to hop back over here and we're going to click add. Now this is really simple to do. We're going to paste it in, we're going to click add, and it's going to start to do its thing. It's going to go and look, it's going to find the information, it's going to pull in the episodes. From that podcast to the page. So we're just gonna wait a few moments for it to do that. And one of the things that I love about the RSS feed technology is that it is going to allow all the different networks to be updated the moment you upload a new episode. So this Facebook page that'll be connected with your podcast is going to then automatically have the new episodes that are coming out. Okay, now when this happens, it's gonna ask for this authentication code that is going to the email address. So I'm gonna get that from the client and then we're gonna hop right back and we will continue this video and I'll show you the rest of that. Okay. So I just got the client to verify the code and gimme the code. So I entered it in and then it takes you to this section right here where we can see this is the podcast. It does say unpublished at this moment. That is because we haven't gone down here and clicked publish the podcast. Now there are a couple settings at the time of recording this that I want to make you aware of. The optional feature here that enables clips, and what they're saying is that people can create and share— excuse me— their favorite episode clips less than 30 seconds in length. So if you want them to be able to do that, then you can turn that on, but if you don't, you would have to turn that off. Okay, so aside from that, what will happen is you just simply click Publish Podcast. Just takes a few seconds here. And to be aware that every time you post a new episode to your service and the RSS feed picks it up and brings it over here, it'll automatically post an update to your page's timeline. So you can also add multiple podcasts in here, is another feature to be aware of if you have more than one. So really easy, great job Facebook at doing this, and I think it's going to have a lot more functionality coming coming out. This is just rolled out, so if you're going to your page and you see this, you can add your podcast. Thank you for watching this video. If you've got any comments, please leave them on the video. If you like what we're doing, hit subscribe. We're trying to push to that 1,000 mark, and thanks for watching.
