In this tutorial, Shaun Whynacht demonstrates a complete workflow for generating a professional AI voiceover for his Automation Show podcast using Google Gemini AI Studio. He starts by dictating a sponsorship script to ChatGPT on his Mac, specifying constraints such as third‑person voice, no jargon, and a sub‑30‑second length for a Blue Cow Marketing sponsorship. After receiving a draft, he edits the script for clarity and brand messaging. He then copies the final text into Gemini AI Studio, switches the default multi‑speaker setting to single‑speaker mode, selects a preferred synthetic voice, and runs the generation. The resulting audio is previewed, downloaded, and ready to be placed at the end of his podcast episode. Throughout, Shaun highlights practical tips like using macOS dictation (Control‑double‑click), navigating the AI Studio interface, and the speed of generation, showcasing how AI tools can streamline podcast production.

Hey, what's up everyone? This video I'm going to walk you through how you can use Gemini, Google's Gemini AI Studio, to generate a voiceover for your podcast. Now what I'm using in this is I'm just recording the next episode of the Automation Show podcast that I do, and I want to update the end sponsorship tag that's on there. Prior to this, I was just using my voice, but we're going to use one of the voices here in AI Studio to do it. So let's hop over now. This is AI Studio. Go to aistudio.google.com to get access to this. But we're going to go to ChatGPT first, because I'm going to have ChatGPT write this for me. All right. So what I'm going to use is one of the projects that I created. Now we can cover this in another video, how to do that. But I have one for my business that's been trained on the elements of the business. So I'm going to go in here and we're going to tell it through voice dictation, which I absolutely love on the Apple computer. You set it up, you just double-click the Control button on your keyboard and it goes into dictation. So I'm just going to dictate what I want it to say. I want you to write a single voice voiceover script for an end of episode podcast sponsorship, period. This is going to be for the Automation Show podcast, and it's sponsored by our company, Blue Cow Marketing. What I want you to do is give a quick highlight about the benefits of Blue Cow Marketing and how they can help Your business with your marketing automation strategy. Offer a free clarity call at bluecowmarketing.ca. Period. Don't use any jargon or AI overused terms or phrases. Period. Make sure you write in the third person. Keep it short, under 30 seconds. Okay, so let's see what it comes up with here. Here's a Type 3 marketing. All right, so it didn't take my consideration of the no here, no jargon, but we're going to fix that when we get it over here. So we're just going to copy that. We're going to copy that to the clipboard and we're going to come over here to AI Studio. Let me move this out of the way so you can see everything. So in here, What we're going to do when we come into this, we're going to go down to the part that says turn text into audio with Gemini. So we're going to go in there. Now by default, it always goes in multi-speaker audio, but we're going to change over to single, single speaker audio. That's a mouthful. I'm going to paste the script in here and I'm going to get rid of that part, the no fluff, no confusion, just clear up my customer journeys. So I'm going to update this a little bit here and I'm going to say, so it says Blue Cow helps small businesses with messy marketing and builds simple solutions that actually work. Things like better customer journeys, workflows that keep your leads engaged, and fewer things slipping through the cracks, right? So that sounds good. Now what we want to do is we want to pick the voice. On the right-hand side, you got a list of all the different voices. You can hit the little play button to hit a little sample of what they sound like. So, so I'm going to use the first one here because I, I like her voice, and we're going to click run. Now we click run, it's going to take a minute or two to generate the audio, and once it generates, it's going to be automatically playing it down below. So I'm just going to pause the video for a second until that generates. All right, so here it is, we're going to hit play.

That's pretty cool. Now we're going to click the three dots here. We're going to download that. And now I'll have that voiceover to use in my timeline when I'm doing my podcast at the end.
