So here we are in the last lesson of our ActiveCampaign intro training. We covered all the different features on the left-hand side here. The last one I want to show you is Settings. At the very bottom, if we go click on this, in here we've got the different options. So who's the main user, what's the email account, what's your signature, your time zone, and things of that nature., and your password. You can obviously change your password at this point within this part of the application. Under addresses, in here it's gonna be the address of the business. So if you need to update that, you can go ahead and do that within this option. And you can obviously have default addresses for different lists. So if you're multiple, running multiple companies within one ActiveCampaign account, you can go ahead and adjust those in here. But in most cases, you're gonna have one address set up on your account. Users, let's say you need to add another user, you can go ahead in here and you can add those different users in here. You can have, I think it's up to 25 users under the basic version. Now under advanced, in here, this is where I strongly recommend, in most cases if you bought your ActiveCampaign through us, we've gone ahead and helped you set this up. But the email deliverability, if it's being sent by ActiveCampaign, it's gonna come out and it's gonna say from Shaun delivered by ActiveCampaign. It's going to have this huge URL in there that's just ugly, right? You want it to come as if it's coming exactly from you, and that's where you manage your own email authentication. Now the key thing with this is you need to have access to your domain, right? Your www address that you have. So if you have it with GoDaddy or Hover or any of those, you need to be able to go into what's called the zone editor and update some CNAME records. So In order to do that, you put in your website address here. So blue— let's do the CRM Guy. You click Generate. It's going to give you the directions, right? So it's a TXT record— sorry, not a CNAME, but a TXT record you add in here. Now, if you aren't the person that knows how to do that and you have a web person, this is the information you need to send to them. Say, I need 2 TXT records added to my domain, uh, and the record name is this and the TXT record's this., and then the same thing for sender ID, right? You will go ahead here, generate and send them this as well, right? And everything's good. And then make sure that you hit save, uh, and lock those in and make sure that this is kept in place here. Uh, and then it's gonna come for you, Shaun at the CRM Guy or Shaun at Blue Cow Marketing, you know, your actual email address. That is key. If down the road you are bringing in other integrations. Um, so in, in this case, if you're using Thrive and you need to do the API connection in here under developer, that's where you get your API URL and your API key. If you're like, I don't know what API is, I don't think I'm ever going to need it, don't worry about it. But if somebody says, hey, I need your API access key and URL for ActiveCampaign, this is where you go and get it. Under tracking, if you turn on site tracking, you're then going to be able to go ahead and put in your domain, and then it's going to give you some tracking code that you can go ahead and put on your website. Now the key behind that is, is seeing where your contacts are actually going on your website. So it's going to be key to put that in place. And I don't have that set up at the moment, but I will do that in the future. So actually, let's go ahead and do that right now. So I'm going to go bluecowmarketing.ca. I'm glad you talked me into it. And we're going to click Add. So there it is. And then we here copy and paste the tracking code into the footer of the site. So I'm going to click on this, copy to my clipboard. You didn't see my hit Ctrl+C. And now I'm going to go over to my website, and I'm already logged in, so I'm going to go into my dashboard, and I'm going to go down to my Thrive dashboard theme options, and I'm going to go to analytics scripts. And again, we may have already set this up for you, uh, so I could put it in here, but I want to make sure that it's actually in the footer. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to go into the appearance and editor, and I'm going to find the footer.php. So theme footer right there, and I'm going to go down to the very bottom and find the last footer tag here. And we're going to go ahead— actually, we're going to, uh, yeah, we'll put it there. I'll paste it in, we'll update that file. We'll come back here and we'll save those settings there. And then that's integrated and saved on my site, uh, and everything's good to go. Now under Integrations, ActiveCampaign has a lot of integrations with, with different options, um, from shopping carts like WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Shopify. So there's integrations with that, uh, you need to upgrade for that as well. Conversions, that is a feature of an upgraded option. And then the saved responses, which we looked at in here. So this is in essence what you have the ability to do with your settings. At the very bottom, if you click on your name, you can log out, or you can get some support there as well. You can see where your contact limit is, right? So in our case, the, the base package we set up was 500 contacts. We're at 355, we have 145 left. Once you hit that 500, you're going to need to upgrade to the next package. So that's where you get your settings. Under Apps here, these are all the apps that can be integrated with ActiveCampaign. So if you use any of these, you can integrate them with it. So Eventbrite is a common one. It shows you how you can integrate that right within your ActiveCampaign account. So hopefully this was helpful to you to get through and get learning and using your ActiveCampaign account as, as you are where we are. Supporters of ActiveCampaign. We most likely have sold you your account because it's being billed through us. As you see, our logo's in the top left-hand corner because we are a reseller of this.
