Shaun Whynacht frames automation as building time machines to reclaim hours spent on repetitive work. Start with the 3-task rule: identify your three most recurring daily tasks like answering emails or scheduling, then automate them with templates and AI. You'll free up time for work that actually matters.

I build time machines that allow people to get back the time they're wasting on repetitive things so that they can spend that time doing the things that they love. So I was able to narrow it down to say, you know what, here's what I do. I build time machines. And you see their eyes be like, what do you mean you build time machines? I build time machines that allow people to get back the time they're wasting on repetitive things so that they can spend that time doing the things that they love, right? That's my elevator pitch. And if you break it down, that's what automation does, right? We're looking at what are those things that keep repeating, those things you have to do over and over again, responding to the same email or following up with people to make sure they show up for your appointment or reminding you to do this task or sorting your email or whatever. That's where this 3-task rule comes in. When you're starting out, look at all the different things that you do every single day? And are there things that are standing out that you're doing over and over again? I mean, if you're doing copy and paste over and over again, that's a repetitive thing, right? Why don't you have a template for it? Right? Could you automate it? Could we leverage AI to respond to inquiries until somebody does something, says something, inquires a certain way where the AI will then notify you that, hey, you need to step in, right? So what are those 3 things? And let's Attack those first. Let's get those things off your plate to free up your time and show you how automation can change your life.
