In this video, a Milkhouse Candles representative explains a streamlined trade‑show lead‑follow‑up system built around Infusionsoft’s Snap App. After a trade show, the team photographs collected business cards with a mobile phone; Infusionsoft’s Snap service hand‑enters the data, tags each contact (e.g., “America’s Mart 2014 January”), and routes it for quick approval. Once approved, an immediate, personalized email is sent to thank the prospect and outline ordering steps, including a limited‑time promotion. Additional timed emails are automatically dispatched two days before the promotion ends to prompt last‑minute orders. The entire campaign can be assembled in 2–3 minutes and has dramatically improved conversion rates and the company’s bottom line by reaching prospects while interest is still hot.

So here's a campaign that we found really, really helpful. What we found is we're going to trade shows and we're collecting maybe 200 business cards at that trade show. And trade shows, for those in the wholesale industry, are very, very expensive to go to. And what we found is we're collecting these business cards, but by the time you get through the orders of that trade show, you get back from market, get everything organized, get through the orders, get everything shipped, it's literally months before you can really do anything with those with the business cards of people who are interested in your booth. Of course, in an effort to hit them while they're hot, that just isn't, isn't working for us. So we're able to use Infusionsoft's Snap App, which is absolutely brilliant. I just take a picture of a business card with my mobile phone, and within an hour the data has been hand-entered. Infusionsoft hand-enters the data and sends it to me for approval. Then all I have to do is simply click a button to approve it, the tag is entered, and the process goes into motion. So I've never seen anything easier for taking care of our customers at trade shows than the Snap App. It's fantastic. So we tag them as, in this case it was America's Mart 2014 January, so we know where that lead came from. And then we send an email out to them right away. So we, we wait, we don't make it look like it was automated. We put a little timer on the front side of that thing to email them at the end of that day to say, "Hey Scott, thanks for stopping by the booth, we appreciate your interest." And then we can give them the, the lowdown on what it takes to order from us. And by the way, we had a Hutch promotion, and if you order on this date, you're gonna get that promotion. And in that process, we also are able to automate an email on the last couple days of that promotion so that that customer, 2 days prior to that promotion ending, they get another email out. Because a lot of us are last-minute people, particularly at market time when they're inundated with information from a lot of different vendors. That has been huge for us. Again, a 2-minute campaign, a 3-minute campaign to build out that has had a huge impact on our bottom line.
