In this short video, Shaun Whynacht of Blue Cow Creative offers a practical tip for business owners to make their Facebook and Twitter pages discoverable. He emphasizes asking customers in‑person to follow the pages, providing valuable content (such as weekly blog posts or behind‑the‑scenes videos) to give them a reason to engage, and consistently surfacing social media links in email signatures, invoices, and other business communications. By implementing these simple steps, businesses can increase online visibility and drive interaction on their social channels. Shaun closes with a call‑to‑action to visit BlueCowCreative.ca and follow the company on Facebook and Twitter.

Hey, it's Shaun from Blue Cow Creative. I got a quick tip here for you, and I'm going to ask you a question because really this should be a no-brainer when it comes to what you're doing online. Do you have a Facebook page for your business? Do you have a Twitter account? Most people do, but the thing is, do people know about it? If nobody knows that it's there, nobody's going to be able to go there, like your page, follow you on Twitter, and then get all that great stuff that you're investing a lot of time and effort into creating. So ask people when they come to your business, say, hey, are you on Facebook? You should check out our page. And give them a reason to go there, not just because it's a page where you're gonna ramble on and blabble on about things that you like, but make it a resource. Make it something of value to them. Why would they wanna go there? Maybe every week you post a blog article. Maybe you have a behind-the-scenes video of new products. I don't know what it is because I don't know your business yet, but whatever it is, make sure it's of value to them. Other ways to do that: put it in the bottom of your email signature, put it on your invoices when you send it out. Make sure that people know where to find you and where to interact with you. So do that, do that well, and you've got a great process to promote your business online in the social media field. I'm Shaun Whynacht with Blue Cow Creative. If you haven't checked out our website yet, go to BlueCowCreative.ca, or you can find us on Facebook at Facebook.com/BlueCowCreative. Or again, if you're on Twitter, our handle @bluecowcreative. Until next time, take care and happy promoting.
