Here we are in 2021. And if you've been marketing your business over the last couple of years, you know that there's a lot of focus that has been on video in content. Now, one of the biggest hurdles that has come up for clients and business owners has been the ability to edit videos. You need costly software that you need to install on the computer. And really, it's been hard to actually create those videos aside from just shooting them on your phone. Now, that is until now. In today's video, we're going to be reviewing InVideo, and in my opinion, this is the best online video editing software of 2021. Now we're going to hop into my computer here and I'm going to show you exactly how to use the software, and we're going to outline some of my favorite features, and we'll actually be creating the video that you're watching right now has been created in this tutorial. So let's hop right in the computer and let's check it out. Hey guys, so here we are inside of InVideo. And like I mentioned when we started the video just moments ago, looking for a solution to be able to edit videos for your business or having your team be able to do it. You know, there's not a lot of options out there without costly softwares you can download. That are actually feature-rich and have that feel and all the elements of a high-end software. Until InVideo. And 2021, the year of video, even more important, I think this is the best solution for you. So what I'm gonna show you here is I went through and actually did some recording to walk through it, and then I was going to go ahead and edit that video together also using the software. And even my second time in here, I learned a lot more in time-saving tips that made it feel even more like those softwares. So the video that you're watching, this one here, is not the first step of doing it, but what I'm gonna do is actually record me editing what would've been the video that you're seeing. I know that's a little confusing, but you know what, when I went through and I learned these tips, I'm like, you know what, you guys deserve a whole lot more to learn these elements versus the first go at it. So let's take a look at it. And I'm going to actually backstep a little bit, uh, further in the video to show you elements that would have been in the previous video. Okay, hope I'm not losing you here. So let's first take a look at InVideo and what you can actually do with it. So they have over 3,000 pre-made templates already that you can go in and create videos by just changing out the assets, putting in new video clips, new images, changing the text, all under different industries. You know, real estate, consulting, marketing, fast food, retail. All these elements are in there, and these are really awesome to use. Things like, you know, let's just go up here and search for logo. You know what, maybe you want a consistent logo ending for your video with your brand and you don't have anything yet. Well, you can build those assets in here. I'm going to show you just quickly how easy this is to actually do. So I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to pick one here. I'll just use this one. I'm gonna click on it. I'm gonna go the wide format, and we are gonna go use template. It's gonna load it up. And now it will allow me to upload the graphic or my logo here if I didn't already do so. And I do actually have it already uploaded. So what I'm gonna do, there's the logo element there. I'm gonna go over to my uploads. I'm gonna pick my logo here. Oh, I don't wanna do that. Let's get rid of that. And I'm gonna actually drag it over and drop it on there. So there's my logo. I could go down here and double-click and actually change out these texts, but for the sake of this video, I'm not going to do that. It allows you to easily edit these elements. And then just like this, we can hit play. There we go. We got a little ending logo that you could use, uh, for your business. So let's go back We talked about the pre-made templates. You got searches here. There's great elements in there. The other part that I wanted to point out was not only is this just an editing software, but it allows you to learn what's on the go. So, you know, the current month, what certain days are there? You know, today, the 22nd of January, it's Hot Sauce Day. You know, Tuesday, it's Republic Day, Australian Day. So you can see a lot of these elements that are showing up here to give you ideas of some video content that you can actually create. And they've done also a great job at the top by giving you tutorials. So you're not left alone when you start this software. You can learn a lot on how to do things. So in addition to these pre-made, very graphical templates, you've got text-to-video, and there's 50 themes in there, which allows you to have basically these videos where you've got different text on the screen and they go through different scenes, and you have that text emphasizing stuff like you're seeing right here happening. Or you can go ahead and create what's called a blank canvas. And you can create videos that are in 16:9 traditional format if you're doing YouTube. You want to do Instagram, you can go square, or you're running some Facebook ads, it's also good to do square. Or if you're doing a lot of stories, you want to create some content for that, you can do the vertical 9:16 format. So let's go ahead and I'm going to go into the latest, or one of the projects that I have created here. And I think it's this one. Let me just double check. I'm going to show you some of the features in here for, for building out content. So the first thing you want to do if you're creating your own content, like I shot my videos, like the video you saw first of me was on my Google Pixel, and this one here is just using Loom, uh, to record my desktop, and I downloaded those files. You can then go in here to uploads and you just upload all your files. Takes a few minutes, it uploads, and then it processes them all. So what you're going to do, I'm going to throw my headphones on so I can actually hear the audio clips as I go through, but you're going to want to go and you want to trim your clips. So I'm going to pick this one here. It's going to pop up and I'm going to go ahead and listen to this. And this is very similar to any other editing software. You can go ahead and press play. But one thing that I recommend you do is you can turn off this play trimmed sections only. So you can leave it on. I would leave it on right now. But if you find that when you hit play, you're not actually being able to— well, here, I'll show you what I mean. So if this was trimmed to here and you say, okay, I want to back up a bit and I want to start there. You went to hit play., it's actually going to go and start right at that trim section. So here's one of the tips I learned. You turn that off and then it will play from here. So if I go back here and I go play there, I'm sitting, I'm waiting. Here we are in 2021. Okay. So as it's playing, I could hit the I key, which indicates in on the keyboard. So let's just do this. Here we are in 2021. There we go. I hit initially that opening. So I'm going to go through here. And we're going to listen to the end. Spacebar will also play, which is very common to another or any other major editing software, is your spacebar and your I and your O keys. Check it out. There we go. So check it out. Hit O. There's my clip. Now I'm going to click Done, and it's going to throw that clip down here on the timeline. Now if you want to zoom in and out on the top, on the right side here of the timeline, you can go Zoom to Fit or or you can actually just zoom out like this and it will actually put your clips like this. Now one thing to know is this is considered a scene. Very similar to what iMovie does, but this is considered a scene and then you've got your media element on top and then you have the music bed is down below. And as you go ahead and add more scenes, the music will increase across or you can actually remove the audio that you want. So when we click on this, it does by default put in an actual text box here. So we're going to go ahead and hit delete on it. But the logo, I like that. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to drag my logo up over top that square, and I can go ahead and it will show up there. Now here's another cool thing is you can have that logo animate how it comes in. So it's not just statically there initially. So we're going to make sure it's selected on the right-hand side. We're going to go to animation, and then we're going to say in, and then we can choose from any of these different animations. Now what I like is from the top. So from the upper part, I can click on there or I can slow it down, uh, or increase it as I see fit. So this is my opening intro, and then I would go ahead and I want to add in the scenes. So I have my original tutorials here that I am doing. So what I'm actually going to do once this is done is this video recording will end up being the part in the middle, but I'm gonna show you how I would go ahead and put it in. So I'm gonna click on this just like before. 4, spacebar, listening. All right, right. So I can do that. Let's just say that's where I wanted it in, and then I go through and let's just say there's the closing. We're going to click— actually, hope not yet. We're not going to click done yet because it's going to go ahead and put the video in. But we can X out of this and it's going to save it anyway. But we're going to go and add another scene. So we're going to hit plus scene. We're going to say build your own. It's going to go in there. And now I can go back to my uploads, click on this to make sure that we didn't have any kind of tricks or tactics that you wouldn't have. And then we'll go here, move it along. Let's say out, and we're going to click done. It's going to put it in for that scene. Now what I would then do is at the end, I would want to have my other video, so my closing video that I recorded. So it would be this one here. In, go to the end. Videos help market your business and share this out to your friends. Take care and have a great time growing your business. There we go. So that's in there. So what I'm going to do is I have to actually add the scene. I keep forgetting that part, but add the scene. Uploads. Pick the clip. In. Out. Done. So really what we have if we go and we look at it is a sandwich. In this case we got 3 clips. We got the intro, the main body, and the outro. But a lot of times when you're creating marketing videos, it might just be you talking. So you don't need to do it that way. You could put in the one video, just trim it up, and throw the graphics on the top and the bottom. Now I want to make some transitions here. So this one here we already fixed up. We got the logo out of it. This one here, It's got text on it even though we overlaid it. So we could delete that. We do have to put the logo in on each clip. It does come in by default, or you can just delete it and not have it there if you don't want. So we're going to go ahead and do the same thing on the end and click that. Click here, put in the logo. Now, because I would be going into a third scene, which is an animated logo that's over here, I would want this to probably fade out. So I'm going to go animation and I'm going to say out. I'm going to pick, and I'm sure there'll be one here, to up. There it is there. So actually near the end, it will slide out of the picture. And then I'm going to add another scene and we're going to go ahead and throw in this here. And we're going to say use full video. It's going to throw that in there for that end scene. Get rid of the text, get rid of the logo, and everything is good. Now, what about transitions? So right now it's just going to be a cut, but between here we can click on this box that says default, and we can see all the different transitions. They're going to just show up here, um, curling in, curling right, bouncing off the bottom, um, different things. So we can go ahead and pick whatever one we want. So I'm going to click on that and then go here. And let's— I don't know, I think it was Showtime Left, Showtime Right. We're going to click on that one. And then this one here, let's just do— let's do the same thing. Perfect. So if you ever want to preview the video, um, you can just go ahead and go back to the beginning here, and you can go ahead and hit play. And if you've been marketing your business, okay, when you're done with with the video, you're going to click export at the top, just like this. And you're going to pick the default and you're going to click export. Now I'm not going to do it because this is the video that I'm going to actually put this video into. But I am going to back up and I'm going to show you one of the videos that I exported, which was this how to develop an online marketing plan. So we're going to go in here, we're going to click edit. And I think actually if I go back here, it's not the spot I want to go. Let's go out of here and we are going to go projects. That's what we want, I think. There we go. So here it is here. So once it's actually been exported, it was two, two versions here. I can go in and I can click on this and go into the video. Now I just don't want this to play on us. There we go. So one of the cool features that I absolutely loved about this was the fact that not only does it allow you to export that project, but it gives you a link to share with other people for comments. So I'm gonna copy this. I'm gonna throw it over here. Let's say you've got somebody on your team that's editing videos and you want them to send it to you and you wanna make some comments on it. No longer do you have to go upload it to YouTube or throw it in Dropbox. You get this link for every video that you export, and then they You can go ahead and write comments in here, and then those comments show up here. So you can go in here and actually see the comments about that video, which is really cool. Great way to keep your projects and your, your creative content in one spot within the system. So highly recommend that you keep a naming convention with your projects. You know, if you've done something where, you know, let's say this logo and you didn't want to actually work with it, you could go into your projects and go ahead and delete those out of here so that they're not in there. Another great kind of time saver that I highly recommend is if you build, let's say, a video format for you doing educational content or, you know, some, some videos that you're teaching a course and you have, you know, logos and lower thirds and all those graphics built, instead of having to go and redo it every time, just go into the previous project and actually just duplicate that project, rename it, and then you go in and just drop in the new video elements and all the creative stuff is already there. So it's going to really help you throughout the system. So there's a lot of function in here. This company is, is moving really fast in their development, and I really love the quality. I love the interface. I love the speed, and I'm really excited to see what they have coming out in the next couple of months. So what do you think of InVideo? That was a great look at what the software has to offer. And I can tell you in 20 years of being a— So that was InVideo, and there's a lot you can do with this software.
