Good day, it's Shaun here with Blue Cow Creative. I got my coffee, things are great. I want to share with you this great program. I use it all the time in my business. Maybe you've seen it, maybe you haven't, but if you haven't, it's called Evernote. And Evernote allows you to keep yourself organized when you're writing notes, whether it's meeting notes, whether you're writing blog posts or writing a book or just keeping track of your daily life. This is a great program for it, and the thing that I really like is the fact that they have a basic free account. Now for several years, that's all I was using because I was just using it to keep track of my notes. This last year I did upgrade to the Plus, but even at $28.99 a year, that's still minimal for the flexibility that it gives you. What Evernote does is it allows you to have one program and it could be on your Mac, it could be on your laptop, your iPad, and you can download the multiple versions of it to those different devices, but you're sharing one set of files. It's all cloud-based in that regard. I'm going to just bring up my program here and just show you how it works. It works under the mindset of notebooks and notes, so a very simple concept. Just picture little booklets and each booklet is on a certain topic. You can have an unlimited amount of books or notebooks and you can have an unlimited amount of notes within that notebook. For example, I'm currently working on a book called Click. I have a notebook called Writings. Now in here is where I go in here and I write anything related to writing. So when I did my Video and Business book, here's the manuscript that I wrote in here. We got the new one, the new book Click, just click on it, you can write. Now this is great because it allows us to keep things in one place. So I know that I'm not always going to be on my iMac which is sitting here at my desk which I'm recording this video on. I may be out at a coffee shop with my MacBook Air and I want to bring up and I want to write another chapter, all I have to do is open up Evernote and everything is synced up to date. Now that's, that's one part. Now the great part about this is that let's say I look at one of my notes, I can go in here and I can share notes. I can do more sharing. I can put it on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter. I can email a copy out to other people. I can put a public link. So if you're writing something and you need to share it with a client, you can just get a public link and it's going to copy it. And then when that's copied, if you just go to your browser and and you paste it in here, they're going to be taken to a hosted version just like this, Evernote, and then would have that content that you put in there. So that's great. That makes it really helpful for you, especially when you want to get into sharing content. The other part that I really like is when you're on your, the mobile app in your phone, you can actually click the microphone button and record an audio note. In there and it will actually put it into your account and create a new note for that. So check it out. It's called Evernote, evernote.com. I guarantee if you use this and you start to write and use all this for keeping track of things, whether it's just projects and so forth, the flexibility of having it synced across all devices will save you so much time, make you so much more efficient, and you'll actually love it.
