In this presentation, Shaun Whynacht explains the inbound methodology flywheel as an alternative to the traditional sales funnel. He walks viewers through the circular model that moves strangers → prospects → customers → promoters, emphasizing how each stage gains momentum and feeds the next. The flywheel is divided into three focus areas—Attract, Engage, Delight—which correspond to marketing, sales, and service functions. By delivering quality content, nurturing leads, and delighting customers, businesses create promoters who bring in new strangers, keeping the wheel spinning. Whynacht stresses the importance of organizational alignment across departments and the use of a CRM (HubSpot) as the central hub to manage the process. He concludes with a call to action, inviting viewers to schedule a free consultation to implement the flywheel in their own businesses.

Here's a way to think about your business. Think about it not as a funnel, but think about it as a circle. We call this a flywheel. So here, what you see on the screen is the Inbound Methodology flywheel that we teach and train here at Blue Cow Marketing. So when we look at this from the outside in, and we look around this gray area, we look up here and it says strangers, right? These are the, the initial people that we're trying to target are strangers, people we don't know yet. And as they go through here, they then turn into prospects. So they've come to your website, they've seen your social posts, they watched your videos on YouTube, they seem connected to what you're doing, they become prospects. So as they become prospects and you start to nurture them, qualify them, you want to convert them into customers, right? Customers are key. Customers are the ones that pay the bills. And customers then become promoters. Right? You go through, you love the service you had with that business, that company. You're going to start to tell people about it. You are becoming a promoter. And who are you promoting it to? You're promoting it to other strangers who then come in here. Now what happens with this in this movement is as more strangers are coming in from the side here and they're hitting this flywheel, it starts to move, okay? And when it moves, it starts to to gain momentum. And the purpose of a flywheel is that it utilizes momentum gained to keep the movement going throughout the process. So as the movement goes, more strangers come in, the movement starts to move, and as more come on, you see what happens here. It is just starting to rotate on its own and keep that momentum going in your business. Now let's take the outside here and let's look a little bit deeper. As we come in here, you're gonna see 3 different colors. You've got attract, engage, and delight. These are the 3 focus areas of your business. The attraction phase is trying to convert those strangers into prospects, and we do that through quality content, retargeting, engaging offers, right? This is all key in your business. So that's in the attraction phase. And then from engage, we wanna engage people, find out more about who they are, qualify them? How can you help them get them motivated? We're trying to convert them from prospects into customers. And now, as we go through the delight phase, we're really taking the tail end of customers here. And we're then turning them into promoters, right, giving them the tools, asking them to become brand ambassadors, giving testimonials, rewarding them, showing them extra love, so they can go out and they can tell other strangers. And this is key right here in this delight phase, because when somebody has a great experience and they feel that they're valued in the business that they are doing business with, they're gonna start to tell people. The adverse side of that is if they have a bad experience, they're gonna tell people too. And those strangers aren't gonna come into your flywheel, they're gonna go over somewhere else, right? So attract, engage, delight. 3 areas of your business: marketing, sales, and service. We look at this, your marketing comes from the attraction and engagement side here. Your sales come from the conversion from engagement into delight, and then your service is in the delight to attraction phase, right? These are the 3 areas of your business. Now, if you're a solopreneur and you're doing everything, you're doing all that yourself. But if you've got different departments, like a marketing department, the marketing department, their key goal is to have a qualified lead to hand over to sales. And the key goal of sales is to sell a product so that the service department can fulfill on that product and service that client. And if it keeps going around and around, then we got business going. The momentum keeps moving. And that's what's key in this is everybody in your business from marketing, sales, and service needs to know the entire process that is superseding them, that is around here. The attraction phase, the engagement stage, the delight phase, buyer personas. Everybody needs to be on par with that. And all of this comes into play and can be shared very easily with a CRM being the hub. Customer relationship manager. HubSpot. HubSpot, this is the methodology for the inbound process of HubSpot. So if all this makes sense to you, if this is something that you feel your business could leverage, then I want to talk to you, right? This is monumental in the clients that we work with. If somebody doesn't have a process like that and we go and implement this process, it is almost night and day how this all comes together.
