This too shall pass. Now, I know it's easy to say and it's harder to live it out, but I just want to remind you all that whatever you're going through, whatever circumstance you're facing, this too shall pass. Welcome back to the Hit Splits Private Podcast. My name is Shelly Hits and I'm so glad you're here. And I was just thinking about this because yesterday I was having a really hard morning and I, I was just struggling. There was just several circumstances that hit me at once and different things that I was dealing with and I ended up like crying and, you know, just, just had, was just having a hard time. And I took a nap first of all and then I took a bath, which is helpful for me. But during my bath time I just felt like the Lord was speaking to me and he gave me a plan and just a reset of how I was thinking about the circumstance. But then he just gave me his peace. And so sometimes like CJ and I will joke about it because we're both very high feeling oriented people and sometimes we just need to sleep it, sleep on it and you know, go to bed for the night. Especially me. This is especially for me. But if I'm really having a hard time, a lot of times I just need to give it some time, you know, go to bed and usually I'll wake up with a different perspective but also having people pray. So yesterday was our virtual writing retreat, kickoff for Christian Book Academy. And CJ shared the theme worth the trip. And oh man, when I, I went to close that, that time, I just, the tears just started coming because it was speaking directly to some of the things I was struggling with. And you know, during our prayer time, several members prayed and you know, I just really felt like God was working and I feel better today. I, I have a different perspective and so sometimes we just need to take a deep breath. Maybe you do need to take a nap or take a bath or take a walk or whatever helps you and ask some people to pray. If you've been around me very long, then, you know, I recommend having a private, you know, small group of people that you can be sending prayer requests to on a regular basis. So, you know, send out a prayer request to your prayer team and say, hey, I'm just really struggling today. Can you pray for me? You don't even have to share all the details. Just, you know, share enough and ask them to pray. But this too shall pass, my friends. So let me just pray for you, whatever you're going through or walking through today. So, Lord, we just pray that you would just be with us as we walk through the ups and downs, the twists and turns, the highs and lows of this life as we await your return. It is just a. A constant battle we are just faced with. Whether it's temptations or trials or persecution or whatever it might be. There's. There's just. We live in a fallen world. So Lord, I just pray that you would help us, that we would put on our armor first and foremost, that we would be covered in the blood of Jesus. We'd be connected with you. Lord, I just pray that we would get our strength from you. And Lord, that you would fight these battles for us, that you would be working and preparing and doing things in advance that only you can do. And give us the. The strength to keep going, the courage to keep going even in the midst of circumstances that aren't changing, and knowing and trusting that you will provide, that you will be with us. And we just thank you for this. In Jesus name, amen. So I heard someone say yesterday, and I can't even remember who it was, but they just said, you know, I just repeat, I trust you, Jesus. I trust you, Jesus. And I. I feel like that just needs to be my mantra right now. I trust you, Jesus. So I encourage you as well. If you need that today, just keep repeating, I trust you, Jesus. All right, I will talk to you on the next episode. Bye bye.
