#102 - Prayer for Writers to Finish a Book

Hey, Kingdom writers, do you need prayer for energy, focus, and the strength to finish the book God has called you to write? My name is Shelli Hitz and I help aspiring authors self publish their books in multiple formats using my publishing map and step by step system so they can write words that outlive them and publish books that fulfill their calling. And in each of these Ask Shelley segments, I promise to share at least one thing that can help you write. Self self publish and market your books so that the message of your books can impact lives. So I had received this question and it was in response to the biggest question they have, and they said, I don't really have a question right now. I just need to finish. I don't want to just write a book. I want to write lots of books. Please pray for my energy level because I'm always tired. And pray that I stay focused. Pray. Pray against perfectionism. Pray that I will be strong and courageous and finish the work God has given me to do. And so I just wanted to record this and to pray for every one of you that really is in that position. And let's go ahead and bring this to the Lord. So, God, I just pray for every Kingdom writer listening right now. I pray that you would fill them with your holy spirit, that you would ignite a passion and an energy within them for. For their project to finish the work that you've called them to do, to finish the book, complete the work. And just like Moses had said about completing the tabernacle when they were in the desert, he said, I finished the work. I did. I completed it. He had done what you had called him to do. Lord, we pray that each one of us would be able to say, I finished the work. I finished the book. So I pray for energy. And if there is anything physically that is coming against those that are listening, whether it's, you know, blood tests that need to be done or hormone testing, or there's other physical things going on that they need help with. I just pray you would give them the medical help that they need to have energy, but also, Lord, that there would just be a supernatural energy and flow from you. Lord, I pray that you would give them strength to combat any tiredness, that they would get good sleep, that it would be deep sleep, restful sleep. And I pray that they would stay focused. Lord, there's so many distractions and so many bright, shiny objects and so many things always vying for our attention. Sometimes we do need to set boundaries in a healthy way, and sometimes it's just a Matter of coming to you and asking you Lord for that. So we're asking you, Lord, we're asking you for focus. And Lord, I pray against any perfectionism in Jesus name. There is an enemy that wants to take, steal, kill and destroy our manuscripts. But Lord, we know that you, Jesus have come to give us life and life abundantly. And there is an abundance of words, an abundance of things that you want to give us for this manuscript. And I pray against any perfectionism that it would just melt away in Jesus name, that there would be nothing left to it, that it would just be gone in Jesus name just like an ice sculpture in the summer, sitting out there in the summer in the hot sun, that it just begins to melt away and it's just, it's not even an issue anymore. Lord, we pray that you would help each Kingdom writer to be strong and courageous and to keep moving forward in what you've called them to do. Lord, I just thank you for them. I just stretch out my hands right now and Lord, I just pray for a supernatural feeling right now in them, Lord, that you would help them to, to release the things that you've given them. And the picture I got recently on a call with Christian Book Academy members is that each of you, you've received from the Lord, you've been researching, you've been gathering all these things and yet for some of you, it's like you've created this reservoir of water and now it's time to open the dam and to let it flow, to let it go out so that it can help others.

It can give water and it can help others from what you have learned. So you may have been storing up for years, but now it's time to release it. It's time to give it to others and allow God to do what he wants to do with it. So Lord, we just thank you that you are right now turning the faucets on and there's going to be flow. There's going to be not just one book, but many books writt. And there are just going to be so many people impacted because you reached down and you turned on the faucet, you turned on the flow. And we thank you in Jesus name, amen. So amen, I pray that you continue to move forward. We have war room prayer meetings every month inside Christian Book Academy.
