Hey, hit splits. Family, this is Shelly, and I wanted to share this prayer from our war room prayer meeting that we have every month with Christian Book Academy members. I was praying for one of our members, Cherie, and it was about making progress in your writing. And as I was praying, God gave me a picture and also just I shared some tips in this prayer that I think might be helpful for some of you. So I definitely wanted to share this with you here on the private podcast. And if this applies to you, then receive this prayer for your writing as well. And I pray that it blesses you.
Lord, we pray for Sheree to get breakthrough to finish her book, her first draft, and she. Her goal is to do at least one chapter every two to three weeks. But Lord, I pray she would go.
At the pace of your grace and.
For her brain to remember the journey. She's been on this for. Were at this for five years. And Father, I just pray that even just like at random times that she would remember important stories or facts or things that happened. And Cherie, I would recommend just carrying a little notebook with you everywhere.
And just have that notebook and a pen or pencil in your pocket, like, literally carry it with you everywhere. And then just ask the Holy Spirit, bring it to my memory. And then if you have a moment, just get off the little notebook and just start writing anything or if you have the idea come to you. But we just pray that these things would come back to her memory. And the picture I got, Sheree, is that it's almost like you've been preparing for a journey and, like packing up. I saw like a river and like a white water rafter, whitewater rafting trip. And it's as if you've been packing and you've been preparing and you have your bag and you have your. The raft and it's all pumped up and the oars and all the things. Now it's time to get in the boat. It's time to get in the boat, and it's time to make progress. It's time to get somewhere. It's time to get to the destination. And for any of you that might be feeling this, you've been preparing and you've been thinking and you've been doing for so long, but you still don't feel like you're making progress. That might be because you're still on the side, sidelines on the bank, river bank, and it's time to push out. It's time to go. And so we just pray, Lord, for Cherie that she would have you in the boat, most importantly, be partnering with you, that you would be in her boat, but that she would just push off in your strength, in your way, that she would make this a priority in her life right now. She would schedule those writing times that nothing would take place of those writing times that just as when we're in a boat, we have to. Sometimes we use our energy to. With the oars to paddle. We. We sometimes need to paddle, and then sometimes the. The current will just take us. So sometimes there may just be times where it's just a supernatural download and the current is just taking her and she's just writing and she's just remembering. And there's other times, and it just feels like her arms are burning from paddling. But that's the way of writing. That's the way it's. Sometimes it just flows and then there's. Sometimes that we still show up, but we need to paddle. We need to with you in the boat, partnering with you with your strength, knowing that you are paddling with us. But Lord, we just pray for progress for Cherie and for anyone else that has felt stuck. We just pray for progress in Jesus name and that it. It wouldn't feel forced, but that there would be intentionality. I pray for intentionality. They would be intentional with their time, with the. The things that they do. Even like with carrying a notebook around everywhere they go and just writing in it. Anything that comes to mind. Because it's like, we're telling you, Lord, we're telling you we're ready. We're ready to write down these things. Just bring them to our minds and we are prepared. Just make Cherie and anyone else that needs to just give them the strategies and the ways to be intentional and to move forward in their call to write with you and at the pace of God's grace.
And we pray this in Jesus name.
