I wanted to just share a word of encouragement with you this morning as we were praying, getting ready for this workshop. We always pray for you. We have a prayer team that prays for you, and so know that you have been prayed for and this workshop has been prayed for. But I got a picture of, like, seasoning a cooking dish. People who are chefs, they don't really measure. They just take a bunch of salt and they season it or whatever is seasoning, paprika or oregano or whatever it. And I just saw God seasoning you as a Kingdom writer today, and I just have a sense that some of you have just been feeling like your writing is bland. It doesn't stand out. How is it any different than anyone else? Why would anyone want to read my book? Who am I to write a book? All of these things that we think, but also just grinding it out, just forcing something. And you know what seasoning does. Seasoning makes the entire dish just taste so much better. Sometimes all you need is salt, right? All you need is some salt. But we love onion powder, garlic powder, all of the things. And I just sense that some of you today, through this workshop, you're going to receive that seasoning from the Lord, from partnering with Him. So that's our secret sauce as a believer is we have the Holy Spirit. God can speak to us at any time, and he can give us God ideas. And so I just pray that today you would press in and ask God for his seasoning. You know, the thing that's going to set you apart, the thing that's going to make your writing go to the next level, it's not just going to be ho hum. And the verse that came to mind is. Is John 15. And verse five says, I'm the vine, you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit. Apart from me, you can do nothing. We could eat plain rice and beans. It will satisfy us. It will nourish us. You can pump out words, you can make it happen, you can force it, but then maybe it's just going to come out flat or bland. But when you partner with God, when you are part of the vine, when you remain in him, you will bear much fruit. Kingdom writers. And so this workshop, I believe, is one of the most important things you could ever do for your writing career. And so I just wanted to encourage you with that today. So if that encouraged you today or if you feel like that was for you, just let us know.
